Was a security guard for the Academy Awards the time during the big earthquake in L.A. I had several interactions with "stars' as I was in the parking deck making sure fans did not get in. The first star I interacted with was this man. He is entirely too nice for his own good. Two fans spotted him just a few feet from me having him in the building. He stopped to sign autographs. I had a few minutes to observe Clint and he I off and on, I suspect he noticed my anxiety building. A few more fans arrived, a few more, . . damn it! It quickly turned into a mob in which I finally said "WOULD YOU GO! PLEASE!" Maybe he is used to mobs, but it was my job to keep fans out, fans that didn't give a damn about trampling my girly ass to get at the stars. Bless him, he went in. One can tell what type of person he is just by being in his presence.. yeah it's that severe. Soft spoken and when he looks into your eyes, he is really "looking at you", giving you his attention. Said all that to say, I wish we had many more Clint's in this world. Oh and for the record: Damn can that man make some fine offspring! His son is just as maybe even a tad more handsome than him 😋

A class act from start to finish. A true lover of his craft both in front of and behind the camera. So much of the "secret" of the acting Clint Eastwood does is simply his presence. His facial expression and presence often tell it all. He doesn't have to act so to speak. Another actor who is like this is Kevin Costner. It is about them portraying who the character is rather than just what he does...
