Being old I was taught how to use a regular watch as a compass. A rotating bezel was an aid to make it easier.

Okay, I'm kinda digging the quartz compass especially the black and red scheme. Which I believe is #4. Great picks. I don't have any Garmin watches because I love being married.

Have the citizens altitude watch with the extra hand which points North, also have a couple of Seiko watches with the compass bezel.

I think a Timex plus my army prismatic compass would work best when GPS is taken down in the apocalypse. My mechanical watch will still be working
