@@johnboyd7158 And pushing your razor forward on a slighly rough surface (like a pair of denim jeans) about 20 times or so, will help to keep those blades straighter for a longer period of time. Hell, I made a single Harry's cartridge last for a year. Shaving doesn't dull your blades all that much, it's that rust that messes 'em up. I'll have to give that rubbing alcohol a try as well. Kudos to all of you who are also giving Gillette the finger 😄🤣👍

The Life Saber is actually incredible I might get one even though I am not the biggest outdoors type person in the world. Every single time I was like "Well if it can do this as well" it's like BUT WAIT, it CAN do that as well! The feature that allows you to light a fire in spite of wind or rain with the 2000 degree fire-starter or whatever, that's dope. That and how you can filter any water you come across with it as well. Lost me at gilette 😂 The Leaf razor is way better and several times cheaper for replacement blades that you can choose and order for pennies per replacement. I use feather blades which are super super sharp but inexpensive and last 3-4 shaves.

Steripen is a really common water disinfecting device. Uv is already commonly used at the final stage of disinfecting city water. Granted, it will only be killing bacteria so you want already clear and somewhat clean water, but works well for making suspicious water safer to drink

The Life Saber: Groovy idea. This is more for "Glamping." I have 4 items that take up the same amount of space in my go-bag that cost me less than $30 (including a UV light - which is useless, btw). I don't have a crank handle to re-charge it. It's not all in one, but then this thing has attachments so..... I also didn't pay $137 bucks for the thing!

uv c is used to sterilize. not all uv lights are the same. my uv a is 395 nm good for finding body fluids but not for sterilizing things.
