June 23rd, 2018, Phra Nakhon Kiri national park (Thailand) Supervised by their coach, 12 young footballers aged 11 to 16 visit one of the top tourist spots in the area: the Tham Luan cave, none of them paying attention to the flood risk warning sign during the monsoon season. As they sink deeper and deeper into the cave, heavy rains occur outside and fill one by one the different cavities. Soon, the group finds itself blocked by the water and they are forced to go even deeper to avoid drowning especially since most of them don’t know how to swim. Begins an incredible evacuation plan where all means are considered. A rescue mission that will last 15 days.
