15 Days with ZEVO FLYING INSECT TRAP - Did it catch anything? More info on UV Concerns + True Cost

The Zevo Flying Insect Trap. Using blue and UV light and a sticky insert to catch small flying insects. Does it work? In this video I did exactly what the instructions say: check the refill and replace if needed. Over the 15 days my trap caught 24 insects. More than I thought would be present, but also proof that it works. I also discuss P&G's response to my UV concerns and ongoing costs.

The UV-A wavelength they described is the same as your traditional "blacklight" that's used in a traditional bug zapper. The bright blue you see is probably just a blue LED to discourage you from looking directly at it. TBH I think just a regular LED would work just as fine as the UV ones, the glass under my bulbs in my kitchen is always collecting dead bugs.

No little tiny bugs in mine, but it has 9 flies... We can't figure out where they are coming from, but since I've installed it, no more pesky flies.... And like yours it seems to get them at the bottom.. Good call Kev, what's next that I'm going to buy ? Lol I'm the guy, like I stated, mine works probably just as good as yours, either way I'm very happy with the purchase.. Sometimes it's like buying a store name product that's made by the big brand name.

Been using these little things for a few years now since my roommate has a major fear of bugs, and they genuinely work well, certainly beats traditional fly paper

I believe that big one is a Crane Fly, with mosquito eater a common nickname.
