I like the bullets in 2 WAY better than 3, EXCEPT that ammo boxes are only usable for one magazine and don't have a set number of bullets in them.

The autodrop of empty ammp depends of the person; if you use ammo boxes to refill and reuse ammo it can be annoying

tbh i think unturned 3.0 seems unfinished like there are many textures and mechanics that are missing. everything seems much less detailed in 3.0. and when i talk about mechanics for example, in 2.0 the driving was very smooth but in 3.0 as soon as you hit a bump your car keeps lurching which slows you down. i prefer 2.0 myself

I play 3.0 since it has more features but I sometimes go back to 2.0 because that was the 1st version I played. Here's some personal things I like about each of them. 3.0: First and Third Person animations are consistent with each other whereas 2.0 didn't. More maps, weapons, zombie types, etc. Ragdoll physics. Better death screen. 2.0: Zombies couldn't go through windows and instead had to go around it. Some models are more detailed e.g. the fire hat shows a fire icon where in 3.0 its just a square.

5:15 its like this cuz of lag issues, U3 is more intensive than U2 and they render the items seperate to the world, rendering them the same with lighting is really complicated too

I think the dropping mag thing is a benefit but also a disadvantage. If you have boxed ammo but forgot to pick up the mag, well.. you just lost a mag. However, if you don't need the magazine, then you don't have to open your inventory to drop it.

Yeah, dropping the mag is useful but also annoying in 2.0. If you have no ammo to refill the mag, it just saves you the time to get rid of it from your inventory, when I went back to 2.0 for the first time after like 4 years, I was surprised that my mag dissapeared after reloading cause I was used to reloading in the 3.0 version where the mag stays in your inventory.

Unturned 3.0 let you craft a muffler but is not with a cola can anymore. Now it is made of cans and tape and it doesnt sound like it used to. Also the muffler is shit in 3.0 because it is broken with a few shots and ALL the weapons decrease its damage while using a muffler or supressor. I wish nelson watched this and improve the game because it is an amazing survival.

no? it is built on a much more polished engine(?), there’s a noticeable improvement on animation quality, it is consistently(?) updated, and I’m pretty sure it added a lot more content. It may have also added workshop support, but I am not entirely sure as I wasn’t around in the 2.0 era.

@@santiaguo21 nah 3.0 servers are chock full of vip players who pay the server host companies for benefits such as keeping your weapons or kits, while everyone else gets locked out or gets a kit with useless items or feasts that no one goes to because it usually spawns useless items
