My jaw dropper this week was the birdhouse perpetual calendar because I’m a sucker for anything involving birds. What fun that you are doing a Q&A. I will be traveling Tuesday but will watch it later. My Q is…. Do you ever sleep, LOL. JK. I’d actually like to know what you were like as a child/teenager, why you became an English teacher, and what your favorite book was to teach about. My son used to be a fantastic HS English teacher and his was The Grapes of Wrath. He’s a corporate sales trainer now. Works remotely and lives in a rural area where he recently bought a home on six acres! I’m very proud of him ❤️!

I love that you included the real story of Christmas in your video today. When we were kids our mom started a tradition of reading the Christmas story from the Bible on Christmas night. We would all gather around and she would ready by the light of a coal oil lantern or by candle light. She is gone now but we have all continued the tradition with our kids and grandkids. Very beautiful and affordable and natural materials: it's a win, win, win! One year my Christmas card showed the images of the twelve days of Christmas and at dinner, each person sang the verse to one day. But they had to start at the beginning. It was fun, and my family enjoyed it very much. I have the cookie cutter set of the 12 days of Christmas. They are a collectable now, lol. Nothing like making you feel old, when your possessions are vintage or retro collectibles! A very Merry Christmas to you and all your family and subscribers!

My mom always had different toothpick holders, she just loved stuff like that. The jewelry and bead glue is a brilliant idea, I never would have thought about it. It has a pointy tip, so that seems useful, as well. I have just been thinking about making different things, by using a maps. I using maps. I also have an old atlas book, and I am thinking about starting to use it, but it is such a neat old book, I don't know that I want to tear it up. I have old dictionaries, too, that I am not so sure I want to tear up. I love dictionaries. I love the stole around the bottle, and the blue place setting, at the end, with the animals. I love the old blue, red, or green dishes, like that. Great job, yet again.

Thank you, Miss Molly! I struggle with using old books in projects, too. You could take a picture of the page in the atlas that you want to use and print that image out. It is surprising how good these pictures look. I bought a large vintage scrap book full of old cards and ephemera at an antique store. Originally, I thought I would use the cards in projects, but, like you, I can’t bring myself to ruin the scrap book. Hope you can join the live chat next week! Lovely! To recommend another product, Glitter glue (any brand) has been a game changer for me. Instead of putting hot glue on the leaves and dipping in glitter, you would just squeeze out the glitter glue. Way less messy and after it is dry the glitter is not coming off.
