Random but Phantom Ganon. It is my favorite boss of Ocarina of Time and looks so menacing, and would fit with the "darker" theme!

@Drakenwild Bro, I saw them hands coming out of the ground and gave em these hands. After the victory was secured... boss battle music started and I was like... no way. F this im outta here.

@@JinglePeeny I saw these hands in a forest somewhere, panicked because gloom wasn't supposed to be on the surface, ran and then they suddenly stopped chase and died. So I was like, huh, weird. Then I encountered them again in a cave, was very confused when they didn't vanish after a brief chase, managed to kill them after a while and was very pleased with myself... then the boss bar appeared.

I personally believe that it's more likely that our whole quest is being to collect all the tears of the kingdom so we can attempt to re-seal Ganon, however the figure that we don't know who'd talking to zelda in the newest trailer is a disguised depowered demise. Then in the finally of the game he swoops in and uses the tears to recover. He ends up kicking link, zelda, and Ganon to curb like their nothing and maybe even almost killing zelda since she's the reincarnation of the goddess. Opening everything to make a 3rd game where for the first time in zelda history we have to work with Ganon. Getting to see a different side of the character, leading to a climatic battle with Ganon after beating demise. Making an even more emotionally powered finally.

I find the idea of Nintendo turning Ganondorf around to be a good guy unlikely... that said, I'd love it if it happened! It would add a lot of depth to the character and a good redemption arc is always nice ^^

@Drakenwild never said they'd make him a good guy, just a temporary ally, enemy of my enemy kinda deal. It makes sense since zelda, Ganon, and link are all representations of the triforce where as demise is darkness. Even though Ganon is evil he is still the weirder of power, which if we go off the themes of the games botw being blue for wisdom, and tears being green, then the final game in the trilogy should be red ie. Ganon.

@@unknown_4176 I actually liked it more than the overworld (bar legacy dungeons). Felt more focused which in my opinion works better for souls formula than the open world does. But to each their own! :D

On a similar note to Tears of the Kingdom, I wanna ask: How likely do you think Nintendo would be to make an Age of Calamity 2? I wanna know how that timeline's Hyrule would fare against Ganondorf.

To be honest, I'm not sure. Original Age of Calamity sold really well from what I can see, so the corporate motivator is definitely there!

When i first started BOTW my nephews wanted me to try it. The moment the towers rose and the shrines opened i immediately said "So, theres an absolutely colossal machine under all this right? Something pushing up all these structures?" He said he didnt know but that makes sense. I havent lost that idea. If we are going underground then we get to see the entire structure that controlled all of it. I wouldnt be surprised if we got sentient robots that maintain the structure, akin to skyward sword robots.

That's such a cool idea! You're right, there must be loads of machinery around all Towers and Shrines... and now they all seem to have retracted back underground, too. I have this little theory that Sheikah Slate map works on wireless telecommunications technology with Towers serving as sources of the signal, essentially streaming the map to the Slate... and if that were the case, the entire network could be controlled via another, hidden Slate.

@@Drakenwild Could be a biological code present within the ancient race. Akin to humans in the Halo series where technology only reacts to their touch. If all that tech doesn't react to Hylians, what if it reacts to the (presumably Zoni) hand thats been grafted to link.

@@judebox9438 Dunno about that one, depends on how ancient Richard is! Because Sheikah would have to be able to communicate with him to set the technology to react to him specifically but I get the feeling he was a hand already by the time that technology was made. Unless he can still telepathy as a hand. We'll see!

I'm a bit confused do you not want us to talk about leaks and spoilers or not talk about officially released content like the previews showing the abilitys. I think being more specific is important because anyhting relased by nintendo is by definition not a spoiler

Fair point, I should have been more specific. Personally I drew a line at trailer 3 and stopped looking at anything from that point on, considering that a potential spoiler despite being official. From what I've seen around in the fanbase, I'm not the only one, that trailer was the cut off point for many people. God knows Nintendo itself doesn't know the difference - I've seen people having their stuff DMCA'ed for including bits of official preview footage. So despite gameplay previews technically not being a spoiler, I'm treating them like a spoiler. Hope that clears it up and thank you for asking! :D
