Include the fact that Etsy is shutting stores down for their mockup photos, I've run weary of Etsy for now and being on a fixed income scares me - as it seems Etsy could be a financial burden to get started. I do intend opening an Etsy store except I need financial backup first. A pop up store seems to be the way to go. Thank you again very much for your info & I truly appreciate it! I was t aware of hack number 9 😮 For us that want to focus our etsy sells in US but we are located another country (I am in UK), do you have to set your location in US or just chose a US print provider? Also, will Etsy charge you fees on transfer currencies for example dollar-pounds (or whatever currency) or international taxes?

Hey Sarah thank you! I haven't started putting up listings quite yet but I will say as an artist in the past I've ALWAYS had trouble with the rgb/cmyk conversion. Like whenever I did some fan art or a commission and went to have it printed somewhere, my blues were always so bland and grey ugh. I did find a printer near me after I moved that does color matching and uses like 12 colors instead of the standard 6 and it's expensive to get the color matching done but worth it imo 😩 Anyways I've been wondering for a while and sorry if I missed this before, but can you show us how to protect our designs? It's one big thing that's stopping me from starting.. especially if you put them up in Walmart or Amazon, can you even protect them, or do you have to wait until someone steals them and then file a claim or send a cease & desist? And how do you even do that? Have you dealt with this before..or do you not really care? 🤔 Thanks for reading my long comment! 💖

the rerouting only works if the one you have chosen is out of stock right? not if the customer is ordering from UK and you have a US supplier

No, the products can't be customized, they have to be products where you upload an image and then sell that image as-is

When you say customized designs vs. predetermined designs - what exactly do you mean, just to clarify? Do you mean if you can customize each item individually, like the custom dog mugs I showcased in this video? If so, no you can't customize each item - it is predetermined designs.

You pay the original fee, but you can set how much you're willing to pay so that you don't get surprised by a provider whose price would be over your profit margin!
