I like this video; multiple entries into a solid technique. Plus, none of that screaming, beached whale porpoising, typewriter tapping that you tend to see in other Hapkido videos. Just good, sober techniques.

Interesting, it looks similiar to wrestling and brazilian jiu jitsu a bit. It has some grappling in there.

Hapkido actually evolved from the same parent art as Aikido - Daito Ryu Aikijutsu. The founder of Hapkido learned the Aikijutsu in Japan, and then returned to Korea after WWII. His first students were Koreans who knew Judo, so Judo got blended into the art. Later on, people with Tae-Kwon-Do backgrounds who were students, resulted in strikes, and kicks being blended in.
