Excellent video, good with more praise for the UK shows of the '70s like the brilliant Thriller and Shadows of Fear, their lovely sets and videoptape productions add much to the immediate mood in a way film can't. The curious thing about SoF, every episode has an open ending. Also, while made for a young audience, Shadows (1975-78) has plenty of the same videotaped atmosphere of more adult shows but it's brilliant too and well worth checking out. As for mini-series, not really horror per se but one of my faves is the italian Le avventure di Pinocchio (1972), much creepiness abound.

If Cliffhangers: The Complete Series (obviously including the unaired final episode, of course) is ever officially released on DVD or Blu-ray, I'm definitely buying it, make no mistake about that!

Not a series, or '70s, but Dark Night of the Scarecorw, circa 1981, is one of the scariest made for tv movies ever.

The one thing I ABSOLUTELY Love about Rod Serling . Twilight Zone or Night Gallery is the humor be it Sci-fi or Horror the twist at the end of the stories were just perfect.🤗😱

Salem's Lot scared the S out of me as a kid. Still holds up as a great horror show. The only thing that would make the show better is if Buffy was there!

Those black and white scenes were not from Night Gallery, as one other has pointed out. Night Gallery was in color. Those scenes look like they may have been from an older series called One Step Beyond.

Kolchak was a damn good series. Very thought-provoking with, as you said, the reactions of a person put into a bizarre and frightening situation. Damn shame he never got to keep the evidence!! My husband remembers one episode where things are getting frozen solid in a warehouse. People or anything with a heat source. He eventually creates a small fire and waits to see what happens. What shows up is a living cooling system from an alien spacecraft, and he is able to communicate with it and tell it that instead of keeping things cool and protecting its ship, it is actually killing lifeforms. He cannot recall the ending exactly, but it does understand and stops doing it. In the last show, Thriller, you named two actors I've never heard of but not the MAIN ACTOR who showed up in EVERY clip you played, Robert Powell. He is a very well known actor who has been in some very good films and TV series. He played major roles in Jesus of Nazareth, as Jesus, He was in Harlequin and The Thirty Nine Steps to name a few. A bit remiss of you there.😒😒

You CANNOT mention 'Armchair Thriller' and not mention the frightening six part story 'Quiet As A Nun'??...The faceless nun rocking in a rocking chair... literally scared and scarred a generation of 70's British kids for life!!! lol

Can the narrator please learn to pronounce his words correctly? And be more clear with his speech. Some of it was almost garbled.

If you wish to be regarded as a competent announcer, you really can't be butchering the pronunciations of words.
