Great video. There's a scottish version of this for you where you link together lots of CalMac ferries with buses in the Hebredies. It will likely be much wetter!

Five hour ferry trip to Barra, then work your way up the islands by bus and ferry to Stornoway and back across to Ullapool then bus to Inverness or Tarbert to Uig on Skye and then bus over the bridge to Kyle of Lochalsh and trains or carry on by bus to Fort William and back to Oban.
