Of course it reminds you the streets of New Orleans. New Orleans was a part of the Hispanic Monarchy. It belonged to the Captaincy of Cuba and to the Viceroyalty of New Spain. (1763/1803) Spain left its mark specially on architecture. The balconies on its facades are essentially spanish.

Those colored trash bins are for recycling different kinds of waste. The green dome-like ones are for glass bottles and jars, blue is for paper and cardboard, yellow for plastic and metal containers (bottles, cans, etc.), brown is organic and the other one is for the rest of the waste (non-recyclable). Recycling works quite well, except for plastics, I'd say.

The fact that you think the streets are empty because it's siesta time, is both funny and sad😅😅😅 siesta is just like a quick nap after lunch, 10-15 minutes and you are up again, ready for whatever comes next. But only SOME people does siesta. Most of the people don't get lunch at home, just like any other country😅😅😅 Loved the video and your energy!! Logroño isn't a bad place to start in a spanish trip, but Haro should probably be the next logical step to get into the wine culture of La Rioja. I used to loves blackberrys (moras) when I was a child, but only the ones which came from a zarza (as the ones you pick there). 13:05 The cabra, which is also the name for the goat in spanish, is a fish which tastes like shrimps. There aren't cobras in Spain, and we don't eat snake meat.

@@elreydelabaraja75 Hay quien tiene mucha historia pero lo que podrías ver ha desaparecido, tienes el ejemplo de Valencia, siendo un reino apenas quedan un par de torres y una penosa catedral, Ciudades como Granada, Salamanca, Córdoba entre otras si han cuidado su legado, he visitado la ruta de los monasterios yes una gozada desde Cantabria hasta el monasterio de Piedra en Aragón, España tiene mucha historia pero hay quien ha sabido cuidar el legado y otros lo han destruido por construir viviendas

I just finally had a chance to watch San Sebastián video #1, which was so much fun and definitely makes me want to watch part 2 now! I’m relieved you didn’t hurt yourself in this video either at the airport or on that skateboard thing. The tapas all looked so good, but all the scenes with wine were my favorite!!! 🍷 🍷 and more 🍷 videos please!!! I’ll watch them all. I love all the details and observations in your videos. From spitting in the middle of the floor to Hugh Jackman in the wall. Everything about this video was so well done!!! Does it take you longer to edit these vlog style videos? Yes because I start with the footage which was like 75 mins and then cut down and do voiceovers and last add some stills. But it might be my favorite “style”! Hello… I’m spanish (good video by the way). One comment however. Is crszy to me how you areicans don’t seem to know your history. You were surprised of the resamblence of New Orleans or California to what you hsve seen… Did you know those places belonged to Spain? They belonged to spain even more time than to mexico (spanish heitage anyway) or the USA. But a good video anyway. Eish you the best.

There it didn't say "cobra", but "cabra", ("goat"). Specifically "Rulo de cabra" or "Goat roll", a way of denominate goat cheesse cause usually is in a roll (rulo) form.

I prefer it to "feel dirty", than to watch on US television how the American police just killed another innocent civilian (including women and children) for a minor traffic violation, or for not obeying their order quickly enough, or because they didn't understand English, or for, "oops, a mistake", with total impunity (make that "the police will investigate its own crimes...) Let's say nothing about the food, housing, health, etc, etc.
