Thanks so much for featuring my first, finished, little neighborhood area on Galentine… it’s been so fun. Blanche is the garden club President and Portia is keeping the dog park area spotless 😎 anyway… lol… as far as updates I never know what to expect… but I do have a wishlist, outside of the “gimme more of everything” feeling and it’s: 1) customizable fences. 2) white antique furniture. 3) a better check out interface, so we can buy whatever we want in one transaction.

Omg! The second island... Pekoe's yard. The Keroppi Bridge and the water custom design detail on the ground.... AMAZING space saving idea while still getting to have a bridge and the Asian inspired feel for Pekoe and Genji's houses. I am so inspired by that. Amazing islands you guys!!! Thx Lex. EVERYONE is using the same autumn street paths now aren't they? Don't get me wrong, it's GORGEOUS I even considered redoing my entire (currently natural, forest-y) island and making it like this but because there's already so many of them now, I decided against it. Lovely neighborhoods, I especially liked the three almost identical houses on the beach.

I picked up a few interesting ideas, but I still don't understand why everyone insists on making their islands so cluttered and crammed together. I guess that's the beauty of a game where you can design things any way you want, I just always found it funny that the designs people swoon over the most like they're so amazing are usually really tacky and poorly thought out.

Ursula is always watering flowers so I made her a little garden center outside her house. Apollo got a deck with music, whirlpool bath, bar and seating. Lucky got a graveyard (or he will when I get the western stone DIY 😭). Roscoe is the gatehouse for my castle. Teddy runs the campsite (his log cabin house was too perfect to pass up) And finally an enclosed Japanese style, uh, family estate(?) for Zucker, Marina and Octavian. Still thinking about the others and swapping villagers out 😅

I just started over again and I’m thinking of doing a neighborhood/ city theme but still keep some natural areas. I want to get villagers like chèvre and bones and dobie that have natural warm earthy colors like whites, greys , and browns. The new villagers coming out if they end up we’re you don’t have to get amibos for them I want shino, Sasha, and iona or whatever the galaxy looking squirrel is named. I have started over so much and have only played long enough to unlock terraforming on one of them. Never finished the museum pretty sure I only upgraded nooks cranny once. I named my island OasisBay because it’s basic and doesn’t revolve around a theme so I can do whatever. I also think im gonna do themes when holidays come or different times of year instead of one theme for my island. Or do many themes for my villagers. Shino could have a Japanese zen area with bamboo and rocks and plants and have another character have a hutch hut or do like a treehouse for maple. Maple is another character I want she’s got a cute house and shes cute

I need tips for improving villager traffic in certain spots on my island. They’re obsessed with hanging out either in front of resident services obviously, or at the beach right next to the airport. I have all my villagers houses spread across every corner of the island but it seems like they never hang out at certain spots. Any items I can add that villagers like to interact with?

i played animal crossing early when it first came out but i quit and deleted my town out of frustration. now that i want to start again, all this min maxxing and nookazon trading and money grinding seems a bit convoluted. but you cant have a good town without trading or itll take forever.

I hate my island, the residents service plaza is in such a bad spot off center In the island and very close to the airport, and my river mouths are also in front of the island so making one continuous river a pain if I wanna make a neighborhood, but I'm so far in the game and can't bring myself to restart because I don't wanna lose all my progress

Wouldd appreciate if you includes the map layout as well because most people didnt know about it. I once following a videos but end up restarting it at 4 stars because just realize my layout choice was bad thus my plan failed due to different island layout. Can flattened island and such but cant move resident services , airport and beach arrangement so whats more important is to make sure to choose permanent decision correctly , before folllowing other people ideas.
