Those panels need proper cleaning and leadacids are big waste of money..if u going offgrid solar spend the extra on proper serverrack Lifepo4 batteries they cost less in long run and less of a headache takes less space much safer , absolute no maintenance.

@KuntalGhosh2 жыл бұрын
@@mrdriver1861 you are getting more than 10 times cycle life from lithium iron phosphate for nearly the same cost at large volumes. And remember 100ah Lifepo4 is like 250ah leadacid. I recently upgraded my ups with 12ah Lifepo4 and that single 12ah 24v pack gave similar run time as 27ah 24v sealed lead acid , each 9ah battery cost 1200₹ and so 6 of them is 7200₹ while the battery pack i have made cost me 4000₹ with cells from robu.in and i could have made it even cheaper if i had bought a large batch of cells from china. In 2022 lead acid makes no sense for any sort of storage battery. It is only good for starter battery in cars and very soon we will have something to replace that.

@@mrdriver1861 they are flat plate cells but still all of them are lead acid and even tubular ones suffer from sulfation..i have two 180ah exide ones in my office and they don't go longer than 6-7yrs even with very minimum discharge and regular water topup.. i have a backup generator which takes over power after 10-20min. Both of them are connected to apc 950va ups & run 2hr if i leave it running on battery.

15Kw off grid is totally waste of money, you have to spend a lot of money on batteries after every 5 years. On- Grid is the best investment.

Buy good batteries and you won’t have that problem And it’s not a waste of money if you literally have no on grid service nearby or setup for the building. A couple of poles and service cables can easily out weigh the cost of solar. India’s power grid is absolutely atrocious anyways, cheaper, safer and more reliable for them to go off grid.
@ali143524 ай бұрын
How can you use ON grid for charging the batteries..???? In ON grid system, you can only transfer the voltage to wapda or any electic supply company.

@herupb60 Жыл бұрын
yap lithium have dense capacity but lithium not design for totaly empty it will damage cell, not only that charging and release energy with high flow will shorter the age, yes you can use it if you just for lamp, that way motor cycle and truck use lead acid, lead acid capable for high current release with only 1 battery so depend for use, if you just use for emergency and cut lamp bill you can use lithium yes you can stack for high current but still not recomend for heavy duty , high bill is not from lamp but motor and heating element like pump,AC,refrigator,rice cooker,iron, electric stove
@PiPiTheLabra Жыл бұрын
@@herupb60 it's actually other way around. Lead acid can't be used upto their full capacity. Also current rating is less in lead acid than lithium. Lithium can be fast charged and discharged.

@@EnSabahNur-ir5mw May I say this my brother? I spent the last 8yrs baby sitting some seal AGM batteries a year ago I switched to Lifepo4 lithium batteries, best decision I ever made. Mine you they were used lithium batteries but still way out perform the AGM in every way. I would recommend you do some investigation on lithium batteries especially since even your phone and laptop uses lithium batteries and they haven't caught 🔥 yet.
