Tum agr 1000 unit bijli bataoge, aur istamal kroge 800 unit, to bachi hui 200 unit bijli ko sarkar 8 ruppee(normal domestic price) mai nahi legi, wo 1-2 rupaiyya degi us bijli ka tumhe. 4. Ongrid system bade sheharo mai successful hai, jaha Bijli ka rate high ho, aur Bijli kam katati ho. Chote sheharo mai Bijli ka rate kam hota, pr installation cost bade sheher jitna hi dena padeg, upr se bijali katati rehti chote sheharo mai, us time Ongrid system bijli nahi banata. 5. Did a quick maths: Electricity cost for 1 year is 48k. Assuming 4k per month! This setup costs 4.8 lakhs after subsidy. It will take 10 years to recover the cost! What about maintenance & support covered in the warranty of 27 years? Each panel can cost a lot.

Cost cutting was done- (what I can see in this video) 1st- It is 9.8Kw not 10Kw 2nd-P type solar panal used (fast degradation) 3rd- Non Bi facials (less efficient solar panal) 4nd- it is high rise but last 2 panals are NOT high rise

10 kw is minimum. I am using solar power for 9 years now. 10 kw is peak production on bright & sunny days without any cloud. Those days are like only 250 days a year at best. Rest of days are cloudy/foggy/dusty where your 10 kw will deliver only 4 kw. But because you have 4 kw on cloudy day you can generate some power on even cloudy day to be independent of grid. Then if you use LPG, free solar power gives u option of using induction stove. And free power charging of electric car/scooter. AC can be left switched on for 15-24 hours every day. You can use energy intensive appliances like dish washers and clothes dryers. So using 10 kw gives you real independence and quality of life which 5 kw or 3 kw can never provide.

The best way to determine the size of the plant is the average per day unit consumption calculated from 3/4 years of bills . I have done this calculation of 7 years . In the night times you have to import power from grid . This 10 KW system in spite of costing 4,56,000 rupees after subsidy still gives a 22.45% return and in 4.5 years the entire investment is recovered. Is there any better investment opportunity So what is wrong in it .

@@MrKhabbu The return on investment is highly dependant on the reliability of the grid itself. If there is 24x7 grid electricity with no downtime, then only it's possible to achieve this return. But in most parts of India, there is varying amounts of power cut, during which grid tied solar system won't work. In my area, we have 4-6 hours of power cut everyday and too during the day when solar power is being generated. So, it's impossible to achieve this ROI for me.

This high rise setup. is not recommended. Solar panels are required to cleaned with wather. So, water lines are installed across solar panes by Chloride company.

net metereing is feasible for domestic use. You will have to pay for the differnce of solar units produced to the units used by the grid. although payout amount from the govt for produceed electricity is very less. Gross meter is for commercial use. where units are bought and sold by the discoms
