Fantastic 👍 Thanks for uploading. Philip Rhee is a brilliant fighter.

I love the teakwondo pure style, it brings a bit of fresh air from all the Kung Fu and Karate style moves that we always see in movies. This guy was my hero back in the day as a kid for his role as Tommy Lee. I'm a black belt in taekwondo from Argentina. Take care guys!

He was absolutely fantastic in Best Of The Best. I really would have liked to have seen more Martial Arts films with him.

Honestly, with all due respect to Robin Shou I have always thought Philip Rhee was the perfect casting for Lui Kang

He was meant to be Lui Kang in Mortal Kombat, I don't remember exactly what went wrong and they went with Robin Shou. Phillip Rhee talks about this in his interview with Scott Adkins on his channel

Fun Facts : Kane Hodder appeared in the 1st 2 BOTB films...he played Burt in the first one, and he was the henchman that gets his hand stuck to the wall in the second film. His most recogizable role is that of Jason Voorhees in several of the Friday The 13th films. He's not featured here since he wasn't one of Tommy's opponents in the bar brawl...he was beat up by Travis. The guy that played Dae Han Park in the 1st 2 films is Phillip's older real-life brother. He was also in Lethal Weapon 4 as the original Mercedes driver that Riggs yanks from the car into the mobile home that's being transported. He's not wearing the eye patch, but is still recognizable without it.

I trained his school in L.A back I the 80s, and 90s. He's ITF tradinional Tae Kwon Do, we emphasize, hands and feet, not just only kicks. Look at the video, he used hands a lot, as well as kicks

He also portrayed one of the unisols in the first Universal Soldier film.

@@rojovo74 I remember that. I watched "Universal Soldier" at the cinema when it was released. He hardly had any dialogue, but I enjoyed his performance.
