A Piece Of Cake by Cupcake Brown is a great memoir. That woman went through a lot, but her journey is interesting, and is so good it reads like fiction. I highly recommend!

Sooooo many good books here! Educated and A Stolen Life... phenomenal. Two of the best memoirs I've ever read. There's so many on here I want to read too! Aww seeing you get emotional a few times in this video is beautiful though knowing the things the doctors are giving you are working! Xxxx

For the most part your list is right up my alley so I’m gonna check out many of your recommendations. I read the Jaycee Dugard story & it’s so sad & disturbing but also hopeful. It’s just crazy what psycho’s can get away with for so long.

Thank you! I actually read most of your recommendations, but not all! Yay for new books!! I glanced at some of my faves, so maybe you can get one or two from these: Born a Crime (Noah), If You Tell (Olsen), Escape From Camp 14 (Harden), Miracle in the Andes (Parrado), and A Mother’s Reckoning (Klebold). Forgot to mention - they all are not “dark and disturbing,” but good nonetheless. 😊

I love If you Tell! I didn't include it on here since it technically was true crime and not a memoir, but I gave it 5 stars!

Thank you, I definitely will read Educated.I highly suggest Yanni's 2003 memoir, called Yanni In Words. The Washington Post has called Yanni's career 'a miracle, a lesson in pluck that could be taught in business school, preached from pulpits and woven into bedtime stories.

i already sent you an email regarding my book not the flag. if you like a dark and twisted story you should check it out but its only 50 pages. i will be elaborating a lot more after my family get to the US safe and sound. Im sure you know how the Iranian government is retaliatory so i cut the original length in half from 100 pages to 50 pages. I will be hiring a new ghostwriter to get into detail about my journey. I hope you like it and i loved your recommendations :)
