I just tried out this HIIT routine for the first time and hit the 7min30sec mark of taking a water break... It was then when I realized my heart was pumping so fast that I couldn't gulp enough air in time... On top of that, I have sinusitis, so one of my nostrils was partially blocked... My hands gradually became numb as my head began to daze and I slowly started experiencing the haunting and panic-filled moments of inevitable suffocation... Had my roommates not intervened and advised me to walk around and eat a banana, this video could've literally cost me my life Moral of the story: Don't mimic that guy in the video unless you're an expert in HIIT, take it slow and it's okay to do only a portion of what he does. Trust me, it may save your life.

Congratulations on your KZbin success. Thank you for motivating others to take care of them selves and offering great advice. My questions are, Have you ever suffered through any injuries? And if so did you find that coming back from it was easier because you were fit? Is an injury ever an alarm to condition or fix an anatomical problem? I'm currently trying to fix my over pronation which caused me my knee (I have a hole in my knee surgery may need to be required) and is damaging my hips and back. I'm not giving up fitness and I will run again I'm determined. Has an injury ever made you consider to end your path to fitness? I'm 24. Any takes on that?

So I love doing HIIT workouts like this, but they make so much noise and I am going to university in the fall and don't want to be that guy that everyone hates in the dorm. How can I keep working at the Fitness Blender level of intensity while having to use a rec center/gym? I loathe treadmills as they are boring as all get out, and after completing a few half and marathons, got bored of running and then found HIIT workouts with you guys and loved that it used every part of my body! So what can I do being in dorm/apartment style-living? I know you have the low impact workouts, but I never found them as intense or fun as some of the harder workouts that involve burpees, star jumps, jump squats, broad jumps etc.
@fitnessblender9 жыл бұрын
TimmyTimBroReilly You can always search the low impact category on our website, and then do those workouts while holding onto weights or wearing a weighted vest, to really step up the challenge. Otherwise, can you take our HIIT with you to a common area, or outside? I like that you're looking for alternatives and ways to make it work instead of excuses!
@TimmyTimBroReilly9 жыл бұрын
FitnessBlender I'll give those suggestions a try, thank you! I think you may be able to reserve individual rooms as well which might work so I can get a group of people to do the workouts! I just saw weighted vests at my local sporting goods store yesterday and thought it was hilarious how much they looked like bullet-proof vests.
@Oshanii9 жыл бұрын
TimmyTimBroReilly I also live in a dorm and do FitnessBlender's workouts, usually in the afternoon/early evening. The problem is not that you're noisy but when you're noisy... there are people who decide to blast loud music and dance at 2 a.m. in the morning, so as long as you decide on a reasonable time, people won't hate you.
@TimmyTimBroReilly9 жыл бұрын
Oshanii Thanks for the tip! What about people below you? Did you talk with them or something because I feel like I would go all Shining on someone if I heard the kind of thumping the HIIT induces above me lol
@davilove10449 жыл бұрын
TimmyTimBroReilly hey, my dorms have basements in them, like they're lounge areas and they have vending machines and washing machines so maybe check and see if you have a basement that's relatively secluded and you can work out there. Noisy workouts are best done on lower levels so the noise doesn't travel down.

In bed watching this. I can either get out or do the exercises but I think I’ll..... Stay in bed and squish my belly and dream about being able to do this 3 times a day everyday......☹️

Hi person who's trying to find a comment that gives results instead of someone batching and complaining "jokingly" about this video. I have been using this video, along with running at the park and lifting weights, as my workout routine. I lost 52 pounds from doing this 3 times a week. It works. It's really annoying seeing all the fake soccer Facebook moms complaining about this video, when therr are people who really want to find out if this is real or not. Hopefully at least one person sees this to know it is.

Regularly do FB vids as a barometer of fitness. Don’t be worried that they’re tough [to start with], they’ll become your friends! Worth sticking with. Thanks for the vids!
