Make sure to do your reserch and heres a tip if you feed flake food crush it up into a powder with your hands so they can actually eat it 😊

Some of the nicest red chilli’s I’ve seen in a video. How did you get them to colour up so well? Food/lighting/age?

Good food for sure, a mixture of dry, live and frozen food. I found having a black background on the aquarium really makes their colours pop!

@@KrishsAquariums I’m looking at getting some chillis, I was going to do live food & frozen as well as good dry food, my background is black as is my sand & have a planted set up - so hopefully I’ll get some nice colours from them as well. Only thing I don’t have is a better light, only have the superfish led light for their open tanks.

@garethpearson7155 I think that lighting should help, by the sounds of it your chillis will be happy and colour up more when they settle into your aquarium!

Yes I feed them the same micro pellets but I crush them! Tank size is 50L and ph is 6.5 with medium water hardness

Mine got very dark red when they matured and grew bigger

@@KrishsAquariums one thing I noticed about my chili rasboras is that they actually turned bright red when when I put in a different species of fish. It’s like they brighten up as a defensive mechanism. And when I took that fish out they went back to pale. I see you have galaxy rasboras with them.
