exactly ! almost all of these are literally like a-kidney-or-two expensive. if you can't afford any of them it's totally fine, there are lots of more affordable options especially for the macbook, ipad, and iphone.

Just my two cents: > If there's anything that any student should get right now, it's the iPad and the Apple Pencil. You don't have to get the Pro, just the base iPad will do + Apple Pencil so you can take notes on it. I got the iPad Air 4 though since I'm a heavy/power user myself but I'm not a creative professional like Raya here. The only moment I've regretted getting the Air over the Pro was when I ran Home Design, it crashed but no biggie for me, it's just a pasttime. > You don't have to get Macbook, scratch that, I would advise against getting the Macbook. Depending on your use, get a Chromebook/laptop instead and take into account the weight it will add to your everyday carry. Or if you have a PC, just pay to upgrade the parts or get a second/third monitor instead of getting a laptop. Let the iPad be your everyday driver then complete more complex tasks on a PC. > Really iPhone 13 Pro? I mean, the only thing that's preventing me to switch from Android to iPhone now is the lack of USB C. The main point is, if you're going to use your phone as a mobile hotspot you don't have to get the iPhone, any phone will do. > I don't use Airpods but for [almost] the same price, you can get Samsung Buds Pro. It has noise cancelling and transparency mode so you can hear anyone around you. They last very long, mine lasts 5+ hours on transparency mode without putting it back in the case to charge. but then again, if you don't need all those bells and whistles, any wireless earphones/headphones will do. Many devices are making the move to remove the 3.5mm jack. Going wireless will make your future-proofed. > Yes, you DO need a light. So people can actually see you when you're on video calls. You can make it face the wall so it won't be as harsh to your face, or so Pokimane says. Always try to justify buying anything at all so they [or your money] won't go to waste. No hate here, Raya is just deep into the Apple ecosystem and you don't have to be. In fact I think this should be an Apple Ecosystem vid instead of 'must have tech items for students' vid.

Definitely agree with iPad + pc computer explanation! I have the iPad 8/pencil & only thing is I wish I put more storage. It’s great for notes & entertainment. But you can always put the cloud on your PC & use your note taking app on the computer in some way. Imo I say get the computer or get the iPad but you don’t NEED both. However…to each it’s own. As a grad student I used both plus another computer in the library 🤣 I needed one for typing, one for researching and another for anything else. Or during exams, my iPad would have hand written notes and my computer was for researching / writing the answers. But the ipad is cool for the aspect of being able to quickly go from drawing and pasting pictures to just taking notes.

Im a mom and working student both take fully this is actually one to aim but not really that necessarily every gadgets will just passed and will.upgrade every day or even a year but if spend money wisely we can save alot instead of keep buying new gadgets yearly and every gadget will work im only using my phone to study until now it works for me still love your being creative and school haul..
