Hei, I apparently seem to want to learn Norwegian now. I love how your language sounds and I enjoy Vikings. And, not gonna lie, you are really nice people there. I don't really want to live in Europe, since my dreamplace is Singapore but I apparently find Norwegian cute. I already speak 3 languages fluently (Bulgarian, English and French) and would like to expand my repertoire. I might consider registering on your website once I part for university, since I will be able to pay the subscription on my own then. Greetings from Bulgaria! Much love, George

Husband can be also translated ektemann?
@beritkaasenbjrnholt1206
@beritkaasenbjrnholt1206 5 жыл бұрын
Certainly. That would be the standard translation. Husband and wife is "ektemann og hustru" (quite formal. Informal would be mann and kone.).
@NorwegianClass101
@NorwegianClass101 5 жыл бұрын
Hei Ivy, "Ektemann" is the correct word for husband, usually just shortened to "mann". It may sound slightly old fashioned today, though, but is absolutly correct and will be understood. Hope this helps! Patrick Team NorwegianClass101.com

Søskenbarn is the word for cousin. And as mentioned in another comment, female cousin is kusine, male cousin is fetter.

Hi Christopher, There are 3 alternatives for you to use: fetter (male cousin) and kusine (female cousin) and søskenbarn (which is a gender neutral word for cousin). Hope this helps! Sincerely, Patrick Team NorwegianClass101.com
