Question of the Day: Which two player game are you anticipating most this year?

Probably Azul Duel, Living Forest Duel and Gatsby. I hadn't heard of Shadow Theater before, so I will keep an eye out for that one, sounds interesting... And even though you mentioned so many already, there are 2 other 2 players games I'm looking forward to: Aquatica Duel and Monumental Duel!

Great breakdown! My wife and I don't get the chance to play games with other people as often as we'd like so 2-player games are great. These all sound awesome!

I love that Tyler immediately knew "monkey" as soon as Ilya mentioned Shadow Theater. *chuckle* I wish my partner enjoyed board games, but for the most part, he doesn't, so 2P games are essentially out for me. :( That said, I will be continuing to work on convincing my husband that we need to get Lairs. I seriously think he would have a blast with it.

Ugh! You guys!! I pride myself in watching these videos and thinking, "Ah good, nothing interested me. My collection will not explode in 2025." But now I you've shown me two games I didn't know about that DO interest me. Living Forest Duel and Shine: Duel of Light. I don't have a lovely furnished basement that I can fill with games, I just have one room. What are you doing to me!?!?

But did you hear about the two player game that released just today? It's called Dress like a KZbinr and I win... cause I was wearing the exact same sweater (well, I guess sweatshirt?) as Ilya! Shhhh, don't tell our spouses we're twinsies! Realistically I tend to avoid 2p only games. I have a bunch of good ones, but they just don't get played! Otherwise, most anticipated is definitely Star Trek Captain's Chair... kinda cheating cause technically it was released last year, but I've not yet seen it in stock in Canada. Also kind of a cheat as I anticipate I'll play this one almost exclusively solo. Otherwise, having just got and played (solo) Furnace, I'm quite curious about it. Also, we love Azul, so that one maybe... 2 player can be so mean!

I love Dress Like a KZbinr! How amazing, Twinsies indeed! Super fair, if they don’t get played then makes sense to avoid them. Play the player can be mean but there’s a few two player games that are quite friendly.
