You probably should of mentioned none of these mods seem to work with the next gen version of fallout 4. I thought these mods would work for next gen but apparently none of them are :( they would be pretty cool though, especially the quest item mod and scrapping junk mods. was very excited to try them but quickly found out they don't work with next gen fallout 4 sadly

aw dang, I didn’t think to mention that, I didn’t update my game to the “next-gen” so I couldn’t say which ones work or not for sure. Although mods that don’t require the script extender *should* still work but I couldn’t say for sure

Not entirely true. Only mods that require F4SE/haven't updated their F4SE plugins to the latest version will not work. Others should work just fine.

I'm pretty new to modding and rely heavy on nexus mods especially vortex mod manager - or more lately I've just been downloading mods directly from the game.. so For me I have no clue what mods work or not.. which is why i come to youtube looking for mods that do work currently. Its a nightmare trying to figure out what mods aren't working or why or what mods dont play well with others, especially when your not good at modding lol

One of my personal favorites is descriptively called "Shut up, Preston Garvey". It basically tuns off his radiant quests once you unlock the Castle, so you don't have to banish him to the Nuka-World Red Rocket to stop hearing about yet another settlement that could really use our help. This makes him at least 75% less annoying.

Thanks, that stealth/chameleon fix is a god-send! I am currently playing FOLON and I gave myself a stealthfield (I loved the chinese stealth armor in previous games, so yeah, I wanted that back!)...but not being able to ADS in stealth? Yeah, sucks!

It’s really obvious they didn’t consider survival mode when they designed the missions towards the end of the Nuka World DLC. Traveling back and forth from Nuka world to some random settlement is such a huge pain. I’d guess most people just do open season instead of wasting their time walking back and forth.

the moveable power armor mod breaks the workshop though. essentially it seems 2 remove or hide the wasteland workshop so u can't use anything in it.

@@viciousmalacite gotcha, yeah from what I’m reading this mod causes issues for a lot of people removing entire categories from their workshop, some other people suggested using the other version of the mod and that fixes it. I was never aware of that happening lol I have so many settlement mods too lol, Thank you!

very interesting thx for uploading it and i would like a survival realistic injury mod / eating drinking mod i remember i had these installed they were good but i deleted all mods as i upgraded to the new version and i forgot the name/s i hope they work now again. it was immersive to really drinke a coke or eat noodels or take a stim pack and have some good animations and sound effects. i just stated to use mods again not much at the moment only 10 my old mod folder had 226 mods. ^^

Do you mean like a mod that shows what weapon you or npcs have equipped on your back when holstered? If that’s what you’re looking for there’s a mod called “Classic Holstered Weapons System” by shavkacagarikia that does this!

Hi,i have the ps5 version and only far harbour dlc..it seems that every mod that i install and enable,even if its for example about 1st person animation tweaks... When i go to diamond city the textures brakes and i'm seeing weird black textures...how do i fix this? should i have to buy nuka world or any other dlcs?

It’s probably a load order thing, I think you should check that and re-arrange it to see if it fixes anything, if it doesn’t I would suggest searching the problem you’re having on google or something. Unless a mod requires a certain DLC, it shouldn’t matter. I also don’t play on any playstation so I couldn’t really help much. Hopefully you can fix it though

12/15 of these are going in my mod list. Thank you! Also rip to whoever _actually_ updated to the New Gen Update lol - personally I avoid updating for barely any reasons but to each their own. Also the next video on UI mods, yes please!! I absolutely can't stand the Favorites system. It's so much worse than Fallout New Vegas' weapon wheel (Viva New Vegas) and so far I just use 1 - 9 to swap weapons and use stims / Radaway since the Favorites quick menu thing is unbearable to use mid-combat or even out of combat.. Great, great video please make more.

Nice! thats great to hear! I agree with you on the favorites menu, it’s pretty bad, especially as it makes you stand still when using it….. I also just use the numbers 1-9 to swap them This was my first time doing a video like this and was alot more work than what I usually do for a video, I am working on another and the goal is to get it out by next week!

Fallout 4 uses "ESP" files for mods which contain script changes, weapons etc. but has a hardcoded limit of 255, an "ESL" is basically just a light version that does not take up one of those slots but only works for smaller mods

Questitems never have weight. It says a weight, but it doesn't add onto your inventory

not all quest items have weight, for example, in Nuka-World there are spacesuits you gather for a quests and they do have a weight and can’t be dropped until completion of the quest. I was using that point in the video just for dramatic emphasis lol, fully aware most quest items don’t have weight

You should do some research on the UF4P tbh. The mod creator is one of the biggest shitheads in the modding community and his mods are NOT needed. Plus the patch is causing lots of issues on the Next Gen patches (console players)
