Of course I will say that something that is directly tied to the immigration situation is I believe that I have been kept out of certain jobs and or I have not applied for certain jobs because the bilingual requirement is ever so prevalent this day and age A lot of jobs particularly service jobs particularly over the phone service jobs whether it's a physical Carl center or you're going to work from home they require that you speak another language besides English and in most cases that's probably going to be Spanish.

Economists say that Trump tariffs will send inflation soaring higher, and tax cuts would put our deficits and national debt into the danger zone. Other countries with much lower deficits and debts have defaulted in the past. I'm not sure he and his cohorts can solve these problems. Also note that other western nations are also experiencing high inflation and debt, such as Canada, the UK, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, and others.

Well they said they worked all their life but they didn't disclose what they did for work also we don't know if they're male or female so it could be that they were female and they did waitress work all of their life. I'm not trying to devalue their life's work I mean a job is a job I don't really care if you're an office person a factory worker or you work in a restaurant or a retail joint as a cashier it doesn't really matter people like to get a big dick about whatever they do and of course they try to say that someone else's job is a lesser job than what they have this is part of the argument when it comes to wages but it's a pathetic argument. The bottom line is there are a lot of people and frankly even a couple of decades ago there was a lot of retirees that didn't have much in the name of a pension they didn't have any retirement coming to them for many of their workplaces we can say that it may have gotten worse over the years but I'm still going to insist this is fairly common it sucks because yeah the price of everything. I mean when you have the working stiffs you know in their '20s through their '50s hardly able to make ends meet then yeah I would imagine it could be a bit harder for a retired person on the other hand that depends on the individual situation some of these people in the retirement club that cries poverty they're actually nowhere near poverty it's either they don't realize how much they are actually worth or how good they have it or the payout isn't what they think it ought to be and in a lot of cases they just refuse to cut spend some of these people want to live as if they're 40 years old with a full-time job. That is 40 years old with a full-time job about 23 years ago because now being 40 with a full-time job it really doesn't cut it.
@KennyG233Ай бұрын
Move to a cheaper city/state or country
@American-Motors-CorporationАй бұрын
@KennyG233 well that's just it everybody is finding out there's really nowhere to run anymore I mean yeah you could probably find some place that might be cheaper than where you're currently living but it's only a matter of time before it's not going to be what's the solution then try to run again I mean we're basically running out of places to go. It's like I live in Central Ohio and licking county but Columbus is sprawling out and we've had an influx of people coming in here and as a result everything is crazy priced there's been discussions on Facebook that involve people from like the next four or five counties north and south and also off to the east or south east The overall conclusion is yeah currently we could probably run out to a place like Jefferson county Morgan county we could go to meigs county and it's true you can go to those places and you can find cheaper rent you can find cheaper house prices but the problem is simply there's no fucking jobs there most of the people that's living in those areas are basically trapped there The ones that do get out they generally run The problem is simply when they come into an area like this or say near Columbus or some surrounding suburb yeah they might get the jobs that might be able to somewhat support living in those areas but what they're doing is walking into higher costs I mean it's a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest you can't win. Basically Northern Ohio has pretty much the same problem it's like you can go up to Brown county near the lake and a lot of the surrounding counties and you can find cheaper places cheaper brand the whole nine yards but there again there's virtually no jobs it's pretty much once you get north of Mount Vernon which is in Knox county there's basically nothing Mount Vernon itself is starting to get really flooded with Columbus people and or people that's running out of some of the surrounding areas of Columbus they all have the same goal in mind and that is to find a cheaper but nice place to live Mount Vernon and the surrounding areas is very nice The problem is simply there's jobs but they're not very supportive jobs Newark basically has the same trouble here in Lincoln county there's jobs but there's not very good pay to be had but then of course if you tried to run to the cheaper counties it really becomes a pain in the ass when you do find a job because it's like here in licking county or say Newark in general if they're going to pay you $15 an hour say to work at the dollar store well if you go up to Brown county if you go over to Jefferson Morgan or mags and some subsequent counties in between The situation is simply they won't pay you 15 they will pay you somewhere between 12 and 14. So picking up and moving isn't exactly the answer I mean it could be a short-term fix and especially if you're a homeowner and you're able to sell your house and then you can buy one in one of those areas that's cheaper than what you currently owe you might be able to finagle your finances to get a cheaper payment but I wouldn't bank on it because it's whatever they decide on any given day. So basically I'm saying that most of the population is pretty much trapped wherever it is The only other method that you really have is to do with a lot of people have done in terms of picking up and moving and that is to simply become nomadic that you basically live in no man's land and you basically just constantly travel The problem there is finding the right line of work that actually would allow you to do that. Of course it comes with its own set of problems that largely involve police if you park in the wrong area they may give you a chance to move but rumor on the van life circuit for some time has been that some areas particularly in some of the southwestern states are dicks and they will straight up just in pound your shit the minute that they find out that you're basically a homeless traveler they would just assume to make you worse off than you already are. I'm not certain that there's really any areas that's specifically welcoming to those that's practicing van life or just travel camping I mean because it's like for instance if I was to do that I couldn't live in my car I drive an '87 Chevy Camaro so basically I would have to carry camping supplies and a wreck to tent basically pretty much every night if I made enough money I might be able to find cheap enough hotel rooms that I would be able to stay in or through the week I would have to do a combination of camping and hotel so as long as you can get a hotel room and basically stay off the street then you and your car would be fine campgrounds well that varies because there is such thing as off-season camping but there's also a lot of campgrounds that purely closed for the winter so there's a lot of planning and strategic stuff that goes into trying to live on the road especially if you're trying to fly under the radar of the police. The only reason why a lot of people have adopted that lifestyle and a lot more of us are greatly considering it and have been for 6 years or more is simply because the cost of conventional stationary life is too expensive and the jobs there again don't really support it I mean yeah you might not necessarily make a lot of money on the road but then again it may not really take a lot of money to live I mean even if you had to go do gig work for like 4 hours at a convenience store which I have done in the past I mean that can yield you $50 $60 right there so that's enough money to put in the gas tank and get a fair amount of decent distance out of it while at the same time yeah you would still have an impossibly 30 bucks left or I mean some combination of money left that you'd be able to feed yourself. I mean I always said that if I was to take to that life I would probably more so just camp rather than fuck with a hotel and the reason being is because if I was living that way I wouldn't really require a lot of money I would always want to keep gasoline in the car so that would probably be my first priority and because I'm camping I can buy conventional food so I'm not afraid to roast up some pork chops wow at the same time I also have hunting and fishing skills so to me it's not really a big deal now the winter time here in Ohio it definitely becomes more of a challenge so you're going to want a very good tent I mean you're going to have to sell out some decent money to prepare to do that but at the same time I basically figured that if I did gig work I really wouldn't do it anymore than probably 3 days a week. Because I wouldn't need to I could do it more yes I would be able to retain more money yes but if I don't really have a need to then there's no worries now a car repair well first off I wouldn't go out there with no money I mean I would want a nest egg somewhere between 1,000 and $3,000 The reason I would go as low as a thousand is because you never know the situation that got you there you never know really what's coming down the road so if for some reason you had to run in a big hurry and you didn't have a lot of time to plan then it would be wise if you could muster at least $1,000 that would help mitigate most car repairs. And then of course I'm not really talking about going too far from where I currently live anyway simply because I'm not that far from countryside in fact it's where I used to live and I know those woods backwards and I know that river backwards so I already have a wide range of places that I can go if I really need to I don't need to leave Ohio and go to fucking Arizona for example. I mean everybody's different and everybody's going to have their own method and their own techniques to do things I don't really think that there's such thing as a wrong answer it's just whatever works for you on a day-to-day basis but of course there are assholes who they especially want to complain that they don't think that you're going to work enough well fuck you I don't need to if I want to I will I mean if I'm not trying to live the conventional life then why would I bother worrying about conventional work hours with conventional shit jobs what's my motivation I got forced out of that system so to me at that point there is zero motivation to bother but there again everybody's different everybody's going to look at it different.

We definitely need change but we're not gonna get it. I'm afraid we'll all be in for a rude awakening.
@American-Motors-CorporationАй бұрын
Well yeah I myself don't really look for much of this to change either basically I would say that pretty much would everyone voted for not me but everyone voted for basically 4 years of hearing it's all Joey's fault. That will be the answer to everything crazy Joe definitely contributed however is inflation is still two years out to be fully thrown onto the heap of the inflation that was caused before he was in office so it just adds to the pile of shit and then of course a lot of people seem to think that these companies going under or closing abruptly or whatever is decided in the moment and it is not most of these companies have been contemplating whether or not to close locations or go out of business completely for 4 to 6 years that's how it works in the corporate world they do not make these decisions overnight unless of course their aims department store. Ames did so rather quickly and that was because one fine day some pinhead somewhere had checked their finances and they realized they were broke so they didn't even bother going through chapter 11 bankruptcy they just said we're done. at the end of the day I think they filed for chapter 7 and did a liquidation but either way you go about it they pretty much ran themselves dry. And of course this is the thing you have most retailers with billions upon billions of dollars of debt and then on top of that you have a population that has a massive income deficiency so the customers could no longer pay the retailers bills and this is catching up with these businesses quite quickly even Walmart of course Walmart is also sitting in 60 billion dollars of debt home Depot is pretty much right there along with Lowe's but you don't need to be 60 billion in debt in order to have a massive problem I mean Kohl's is roughly 5 billion or so in debt and they're struggling of course Macy's is near 20 billion in debt and they're struggling of course look at the price points JCPenney is no better off. So across the retail trade I mean you take five or six of these companies and it's not hard to add up a total of you know 180 billion dollars in debt I mean that's terrible for that industry that's shit there's virtually no way out of that The only way that you can get out of it is if you somehow managed to get a large volume of customers that is spending tremendous amounts of money and you can pay down the debt but we don't see that that's coming back The shop till you drop is not here frankly I don't even really think it truly existed in the early to mid-2000 simply because well everybody was mortgaged in the shit out of their house to do so everybody was blowing credit card money it wasn't originating out of their actual income and guess what for the middle class that is still a thing they never learned their lesson the minute that they started to pass out the credit cards these people ate them up they bought too much house they bought too much car and they maintain a wallet full of credit cards and then they wonder why they don't have any fucking money and then they talk about how the middle class is disappearing gee I wonder why? It turns out they can't manage money they like to think they can and I'm certain there's a few of us who can but the mass majority of them know they don't manage money they just talk about how they'll make more until one day they don't.

Car loans and mortgages have destroyed the middle class. Eating out whether fast food or modest is and always has been expensive. I ate out for the first time in my life at age 13, just once at IHOP. Then when 17 when I had a job. I make a lot and am surrounded by cars that cost 3 to 4 times what my car cost and I doubt those people make even half what I make. This cannot end well. My father was college educated and always drove old cars and never had a car payment. He had 7 kids in a small 2 bedroom home rental for years before buying a modest 4 bedroom that he lived in for 40 years without much updating.

Not hardly, as we see in the last time tariffs only increase the price because that cost is passed on to you the consumer tariffs are a wonderful idea but it's a wonderful idea 28 years ago before China got to the point to where they are today that we really do depend on them they know it most of our companies are located there here's the other problem you have American companies manufacturing shit in China then you're going to put a tariff on it that tariff is passed on to you it doesn't hurt that company at all especially because that company can also sell those products not only in China but India Vietnam Cambodia etc etc everywhere else in the world that here they really don't need you Johnny q American and they're not shy about displaying that anymore. Yeah it's like for instance back in 2014 Ford announced they were going to discontinue the Ford focus here in North America well they did but you know what's funny you can go everywhere else in the world and buy one to this day oh and by the way 50% cheaper than they ever sold them here That's not the only model of car you can do that with. so the tariffs are more so a dick wag a feel-good measure to make you think that they're actually doing something oh they're doing something all right they're just going to cause the price to go up for you you shall see.

As a beginner investor, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. Bridget Lee Wade is my trade analyst, she has guided me to identify key market trends, pinpointed strategic entry points, and provided risk assessment, ensuring my trades decisions align with market dynamics for optimal returns.

This is correct, Bridget's strategy has normalized winning trades for me also and it’s a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started

There is HIRING @HOMELESS DEPOT 🛒🛒🛒🛒🛒🛒
@American-Motors-CorporationАй бұрын
Well they claim to be hiring but they're really kind of not at least in my area I know people who have applied there in fact my father works there and they talk about how they're hiring but then it's like they never really seem to hire anybody as of recent. Yeah the reason why there's help wanted signs never came down was because of the work opportunity tax credit they only hire when they want to so that they can pick up a couple of tax credits that's it and basically the deal behind those is they work you for 120 hours they get a 25% tax credit. But most of these companies have used and abuse that for over a decade they've ran out of people within the area to collect that from so they're not really hiring that incentive they still technically pursue it but not like they used to.

Trump's going to set credit card rates at 10% for a period of time. Said people can't pay off credit cards w 20 to 25% interest rates. Most rates are 29.99%.

Mine is 32% but the bank isn't getting any interest out of me - I pay my statement in full when I get it! I'm lucky I can do it! I feel very badly for those who are suffering!

@Woof728 that should raise your credit rating. A company Lexington law helps w removing negative things on credit reports. I used them n was super happy w results.

Yeah so the best thing to do is not play the game at all I like how they credit card people are just like compulsive gamblers they all think they have a system and everybody does this thing where they say oh well I pay it off immediately when I get the statement yeah that works up until one day you can't pay it so pay it the next time around cut the fucking card and stop using it.

@American-Motors-Corporation need to develop credit somehow to get a loan some day. That's usually the easiest to get.
@crand20033Ай бұрын
That's Usury. Usury (/ˈjuːʒəri/) is the practice of making loans that are seen as unfairly enriching the lender. The term may be used in a moral sense-condemning taking advantage of others' misfortunes-or in a legal sense, where an interest rate is charged in excess of the maximum rate that is allowed by law.
