I’m an archaeologist. I study systems collapse: how complex civilizations rise and fall. Any idiot can complicate a simple thing; but to take the complex and elegantly reduce it to its simplest form while preserving analytical rigour - that’s the hallmark of genius. This presentation does just that.
Do you think monetary inflation (due to government corruption) is good for an economy? Did you vote for Trump or Biden in 2020? Edit: Lmao, imagine writing more about Trump than Biden’s insane levels of corruption 😂🤦♂️
@dorianphilotheates37692 жыл бұрын
@@jeffw8218 - Inflation is not good. Government corruption is not good. I voted for neither. I’m not an American - but even if I was, I would vote for neither. Power has permanently shifted away from the public and into the private sphere. It no longer matters who governs. All who occupy the highest public offices in the land are placed there simply to carry out the agenda of their corporate masters. It’s abundantly evident that “the game is rigged”. Biden, like several of his immediate predecessors, is a willing pawn of the corporatist oligarchy; Trump was an aberration, but not because he was a “political outsider “. He differs from the bog standard issue politician only in so far as he is himself one of the 0.001%. What he lacks in manners, education, tact, sophistication, and political savvy, he more than made up for with the brand of vacuous populism and the kind of boorish entertainment appeal which greatly resonate with America’s ‘hoi polloi’. The corporate class and financiers of Wall Street got to thinking of cutting out the middleman and putting one of their own number in charge. In this way, they could pass whatever legislation they wanted so that they could continue to deregulate the business system. Unhindered by any real opposition, they could thereby further erode democratic institutions and disintegrate what was left of the middle working class in America. Because, you know...”Too Big to Fail”...”small government”...”Big Business”...”innovative entrepreneurship”...”rugged individualism” “free enterprise”...”Invisible Hand of The Market”...”fiscal responsibility”...”capitalism for The Many, socialism for The Few”...”greed is good”, and all the other charming fables of corporatist mythology. For them, you see, it’s never enough....it’s never, EVER going to be enough. It all seemed like a good idea at the time, but of course, Trump was such a massive embarrassment that they couldn’t get him out of The Oval soon enough. And naturally, Trump being Trump, he was not willing to go gracefully, which caused even more embarrassment...Yes, giving ‘The Donald’ executive power was a massive blunder for his rich cronies: for one thing, he’s got a really big mouth and very little grey matter, so this winning combination often threatened to expose the shenanigans of the plutocratic misanthropes. Well, in the end we all saw how well all of that turned out: the owners of the world are not likely to repeat THAT ingenious experiment again any time soon...

The money system is completely changing. The US paper dollar is going bye bye. BRICS are going to trade with their own currencies. That will bankrupt us real quick. The good news is that the US corporation will go bankrupt. Along with the satanic elite global slum bankers and their central bank. We became a corporation in 1871 and will become a republic once again soon. We either go bankrupt as a corporation or switch to a republic and wipe away all debts. That is what is coming. es, Mr. Buckner! Great speaker AND a great writer; a rare combination to be found these days on the internet. Now I wonder why "economics" wasn't required at my high school???? Should have been right up there with World History, should it not have ? This author is influencing allot of students, I think, too ? -This being MY book; if I had written one, it would be "about" how "unconditional love for humanity" IS possibly more important than the concept of " World Economics ?" I was engaged to a guy from New York, Manhattan Island, actually, he always talked about his high school, "Stiverson?" I think. He and I continually debated this; Him being an economic major, and an art minor he said just for fun and some easy units !). and me being a Sociology Major, and a Music minor from California. He took a job with a company in Van Nuys, "Hooker Headers"..I'd thought a funny name back then; He had worked his way up to a position of Manager of the J.C. Penney, a Tire company on Manhattan Island, BECAUSE, he said he loved race cars, and knew how to get supporters just by "working with and around" these types of people. Though I never have liked "loud noises", I'd accompany him to his racing the car they titled " The Penny Pincher"...financed by JC Penny, of course. A good-lookin' hard working, determined handsome man, George Jasous had also played football with the "Jets." ("Great exercise and good planning in the brain," he'd say! ) Unfortunately, George was not a great "health enthusiast," and he passed away at quite a young age; I attributed that to the "stress" involved in his economically superior ideas... He used to take me to night clubs and listen to me sing, and our debate would always ensue over and over. He'd say "Economics Rule the World", and I'd continue to contend, the "heart" rules the world. No one ever won the debate, and we also, never married. I did learn that his suggestion of "working in and around the types of people who are successfully active at what you "think" your own goals are" holds merit.. but I still am writing music, avoiding the stress of the "performance", and am not a quitter. But the debate still remains....George sort of had an "Unconditional love" toward ME... I still pursue ""Unconditional love toward humanity." Not having the tenacity to write the full symphony, nor the book, I'm sure I will someday write a song dedicated to George... Not " Born in the USA", it would instead be " Born in Brooklyn"...Never met a New Yorker who was a quitter, ha. Economics may rule the world, but I still contend, that love for ones fellow man, still rules the world. (George would say I'm just dreaming!) . Perhaps I felt compelled to write this, because I see some high school students really APPRECIATING this video..so well done, and by a great speaker, too. "I Ain't no Middleman" Fred Gold & Lynda Faye RIP George- He was never a "middle man" either. LyndaFayeSmusic@gmail.com

I took Microeconomics and Macroeconomics in college and honestly I didn’t learn anything because my professors were focused on their political ideology more than teaching. I’m thankful I watched this educational video. It taught me more than my Economy classes. Thank you sir.
@petergeorge86962 жыл бұрын
@Fred Freddy first, this is true. Second, you don’t know if this is true or not because you weren’t in my classes. Third, my Econ Professors were too busy endorsing Joe Biden than actually teaching their students and that’s why most of the students failed their classes. Lastly, this is in the college I attend and in some of MY Econ classes NOT every college or classes or professors are like that.
@petergeorge86962 жыл бұрын
@Fred Freddy because I said “Joe Biden” that doesn’t mean I’m President Trump support. You can’t judge or assume. And yes, I’m President Trump supporter. Also, I passed and hardly. My point isn’t Biden or Trump or Aliens 👽. My point is professors should stick to teaching and not talk about their political ideology. I’m paying them to teach me Econ, Math, Accounting, Finance, English, etc. I don’t need their opinion about politics in class rooms because they can offend people. They can talk about politics in their house or with friends but not in classrooms. And the main thing you can’t even talk back about your opinion because you get afraid if they might fail you. Thats goes to every political party and that’s just SAD.
@petergeorge86962 жыл бұрын
@Fred Freddy I’m with you, they need to use historical examples for different administrations. That’s not my point. My point is they give their personal opinion. For example, my professor she literally endorsed Biden in 2020 when the presidential elections were going like I get your free to support whoever you want but when you come to classroom you need to be a role model for your students no matter what their political ideology is. I personally didn’t get offended but I was concerned for future classes and students. They could easily offend students especially when they pick a side in politics and religion. I get scared to even mention the word republican in classroom just because I don’t want to offend anyone or get a bad grade just because of my political ideology.

@lyndafayesmusic2 жыл бұрын
Ha, funny to read your conclusion--This being MY book; if I had written one, it would be "about" how "unconditional love for humanity" IS possibly more important than the concept of " World Economics ?" I was engaged to a guy from New York, Manhattan Island, actually, he always talked about his high school, "Stiverson?" I think.

Ray Dalio is certainly intelligent in the financial and economic realm, but you had better research Ray Dalio's love for the CCP (Chinese Communist Party), where he had been doing business and helping the CCP for the last 1.5 decades and has given 10 million to the CCP to fight COVID in 2020. Does that not lead to serious concerns, since it was the CCP who released the virus and covered it up, yet Dalio gives them millions? Keep in mind a true philosopher is also a moralist and with Dalio's chosen moral blindness to the CCP violations of human rights and progressive genocide of the Uyghurs, one really has to reconsider idolizing such a man as Dalio.

@@someoneelse3456 Your not thinking this clearly Hootus. Dalio brought millions, if not billions to the pockets of the CCP, which funds their CCP effort to dominate the world and convert it to communism. It is the same as supporting the neighbour street gang (for whatever financial reasons) and they degrade the neighbour further because of their corrupt actions. The CCP has been using greed, money, promises of wealth (ie: debt diplomacy style) to take control of wealth in the world, using the greed of Western investors and businesses to do it. This is what the WEF (World Economic Forum) plans are all about, they are in sync with the plans of Xi Zinping because they know about Dalio's rise and fall scenarios and as the world financial elites, per the Dalio video information, they want the winning side. What is that for the rest of the world? - servitude to the CCP and poverty. (and there is a lot more to this) People like Dalio helping the CCP only accelerates the rise of China and a World War with the USA (per the video). Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

If you liked this video, I highly recommend checking out Grand Theft World. They are a group of human historical encyclopedias (forensic historians) that delve deep into the generalities proposed in this video. For example, how governments have actually been the ones who intentionally fomented internal discord in their own countries as an excuse to grow state power in an attempt to prolong their self-imposed declines due to financial irresponsibility. Also, they very clearly document all of their sources for you to verify on your own. What's more incredible is they teach how the same groups of elites have been on both sides of every conflict, and the notion of "sovereign nation-states" is really a bunch of Kabuki theater to hide the consolidation of power that's actually taking place.

A couple things to consider for anyone who’s worried… British and the Dutch still did pretty well despite losing the lead. China has dipped in amd out of lead position several times. I think even if America loses the lead, it will be relatively okay, and actually may even be better off and can take the lead again in the future when its internal issues have been resolved. As long as everyone doesn’t freak out and destroy the world out of fear and ego, everything will be okay.

@linguinatorschwartz93092 жыл бұрын
@williemo44 -- You are right on the money. One of the worst and most destructive innovations of the 20th Century is the 30-year mortgage. It taught people to over-purchase when buying a home AND trained the entire American populace to learn to live with debt -- as if carrying constant, life-long debt is either normal or acceptable. It is this modern Culture Of Debt that has made Americans think it is acceptable to commit the greatest instance of intergenerational theft in all of human history by creating now 30 TRILLION DOLLARS of federal debt. Our grandchildren will curse us and urinate on our graves. And we deserve it. At least those who voted for irresponsible politicians deserve it.
@williemo442 жыл бұрын
@@linguinatorschwartz9309 agree 100%. Some years ago I began to see liquidity not as a means of consumption but a control and measure of production. When I look at the ancient accomplishments of productivity (Rome, Greece, Great Wall, Great Pyramids, etc) this required some form of capital. Even with slave labor there is a hard cost to the empire. As monetary policy is loosened-typically productivity is increased and subsequently consumption of goods is increased. Anytime liquidity is provided without productivity a bubble occurs because now we have a debt where labor/production now has to make good on it. Meaning we will not enjoy the fruits of our labor in the future because they are being enjoyed today. If there is a recession and Mass layoffs before said debt can be made good on it is setup for failure.

@@georgem5560 in a sense you are both correct. I did mean teaching these principles in K12 history classes. But personally I only took the basic ‘Econ for Dummies’ course in college and struggled mightily to get through it even though the subject was very interesting to me. I would have loved to have learned about the history of world economies and political systems in broad strokes such as presented in this video. I’m a liberal arts kind of guy, and while I’m very glad there are people like you who are much smarter than me in subjects such as Econ, I think society would do better if we all had a general understanding of other subject areas without getting bogged down in the math or technical details most college-level courses present.
