His voice improoved, it was his scream technique, which has changed. Contrary to popular belief, Åkerfeldt didn't do falsecord growl before 2008, it was infact a type of fry growl. But his technique changed after the release of watershed, only then he did false cord up to the present day. Sad he never really practices it tho, he could sound soo much more beasty with dedication

I prefer Chris Barnes Some people don't like the "dying cat" thing Chris does, whatever, you do you, but generally, average comparison of average lows, Corpsegrinder sounds to me like he's in pain. Chris Barnes doesn't. Simple as that. Corpsegrinder sounds like a dude who is in pain; Chris sounds like a dude who might cause me pain.
