It's unfortunate that Corey has been receiving such hate. Recently it's been about Weinberg: as much as I love Jay as a drummer and for what he brought to the band this last ten years, I'm sure he wasn't fired for no reason. Of course Taylor and Clown have made some pretty questionable choices (I say just them, because of the whole Chris Fehn situation), but remember guys, he is one of the most powerful (if not the most powerful), and one of the most unique voices in metal. I love that he's supporting the up-and-comers, and I respect him a lot for it (though keep in mind that Slaughter to Prevail's status seems like a lifetime away to a young musician like myself). Great stuff!

Corey doesn't have any control over Slipknot, it's just Clown. Corey just gets thrown in there because he's the lead singer and frontman so he's going to always get bashed to some extent. Plus Chris was a druggie that got booted from the band when he was caught doing drugs and used the lawsuit as a cover up(the Chris thing came from one of the family members of Slipknot). Also Jay did get fired for no reason by Clown....over a phone call.

What makes slaughter i think so cool to us American/western/English speaking fans and why they sound so good is i believe we focus more on the music and can hear it better. What i mean is were actually listening to the sounds that are available more clearly. That's because most of us dont know how to speak or interpret russian language. Therefore we are not distracted by lyrics, and focusing on exactly what the song itself is saying. Our attention isnt divided by lryical interpretation and music, soley focused on sounds and how they blend together.

Slaughter To Prevail is basically Russian version of Slipknot with less deathcore staff in last 2 albums, and thats why we love them! So that is very good path they are going, i love new Slaughter To Prevail more Slipknot Vocal and instrumental style with just a little touch of modern Deathcore that im not that much of a fan in music. I say all that because Slaughter To Prevail have a special place as it is as Russian Slipknot version, and we all know that because of that we love them cause they so Vibe the Slipknot style but more brutal way. We all want that to be the future because we all know that first Slaughter To Prevail albums are pure Deathcore and its really generic boring music.... Exactly man, all the "mainstream" metal bands (a lot of them deathcore at this point) get so much hate and objectively speaking, they're often not the most talented musicians/songwriters, but they attract ten times more people to the genre than the trve, super technical, 15 minute song bands ever will, and that's only a good thing. solo work. Corey was there with CMFT. Although irionically, the set was all slipknott and stonesour songs. Even did spongebob theme and a few covers. Only played one CMFT song. Funnily enough eloy was at the festival too with Sepultura.

Did anybody catch the "Justin our drummer" part at 1:32, or am I just really behind the news?

I fuckin love Corey. Always has had that core of humanity. It's just who he is. Setting an example on how to be real and true for the rest of us who might need it! Such a beauty

I think he bought a shirt from my brother's band Dungeon Filth at days of the dead. They said he was a super chill cool dude. I'd love to meet Alex sometime.

Did anyone else notice that Corey said "Dustin (possibly Justin), our drummer said..." at the 1:29 mark? Is this a clue as to who the newest member will be?
