I totally agree. I put $250k into stocks with my advisor, and now I've made over $4 million in profits. I used the profits to buy properties, and they're bringing in great income. It just shows how important it is to invest in things that grow over time. It's like I'm living out the lessons right from the start of his book- Guide to investing

Despite the ups and downs in the stock market, you've managed to turn your investments into good profits. Could you share the name of your advisor? I have $300k saved up and ready to invest, but as a beginner, I don't know my way around the market.

@RobertDavid2122 ай бұрын
Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. Personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to $35k, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I'm buying again.

Don't believe some BS that some video podcast say, don't payoff your mortgage. With that extra money that you no longer have to dish out, you have more purchasing power. To save, to invest more, go on several vacations per year if you like. That's what I did, I paid off my mortgage; and I have more money in my pocket. Good luck to one and all.

The most important one: You set up your income producing portfolio and put it in an irrevocable trust BEFORE even thinking about marriage. Otherwise, it will be vulnerable to be destroyed by emotional spending coming from your spouse or yourself and a divorce. If you do this, you will have peace of mind because you will be immune to fraud, lawsuits, and divorce. You also follow the tradition of generational wealth.

I used to collect comic books when I was young, now I am an antiquarian; collecting old rare books and manuscripts. I am not there yet, I am still letting my investments snowball. I have the cart in front of the horse, or to word it contemporary; I put the trailer in front of the SUV - lol. Good luck to one and all.

How do I know I made it? I hate to sound simple but when you are doing better than your parents. Money isn't everything to me since I grow up without any. My parents were immigrants and did there best to survive. As a 1st generation American, I had all the opportunities growing up that my parents didn't have. Surprisingly, many that grad HS or even didn't, still are struggling. I just told my self to work hard and make them proud. I didn't want them to struggle while I was adulting. Overall there is still room to grow but I feel out doing your parents was my gold.

I have to say this-I was thinking through the majority of this that maybe I hadn’t made it, but purely because I have chosen to rent an apartment over owning a home. And then when I heard the part about the child version of yourself being in awe of what you’ve done. And yeah, 100%. Child me never would have imagined the success that I’ve seen…however, the very next line of having the right people around you and not being an island by yourself. That hit deep and hard, and it brought me to tears. Because here I am, on this island of success…all by myself. Family, kids, everyone seems so distant because I chose work over family up to this point.

The way I picture it, I can spend an entire year on a passion project, even if has no returns or even burns money, and not work on anything else, without worrying about my finances. Also, I would like to have something run by my money. Like imagine having a library in the neighbourhood, free for everyone and with a large collection of books. Those working there are paid well, its pristine and proper, and it is being paid entirely out of my pocket. I can afford to run such a library, even though its nothing but a money bin, just because I seek to. Essentially, money wise, its simply I can do almost anything I want without worrying about financial constraints.

Alux videos pop up on my feed immediately as they get posted. I was avoiding this one like the plague because I know I haven’t made it. Matter of fact, I’m DEAD BROKE, and listening to such life standards where 25 k is “subpar”, let alone bite “only” 5% of 52 mil/year and let the rest compound…it just aches me to the core that there are people living this kind of life while I’m kicking rocks down at the bottom. However, as is the case with any kind of Alux content, that’s just the fuel that I needed. ONE day I’ll be looking back at this moment in life knowing that I’ve finally made it. Or I’ll die trying.
