I can't help but disagee. Having a family is not a party. It's work. Sometimes, it isn't fun at all. I see too many parents who treat their kids as their favourite toys. But life is not all fun and games.A family with children is a responsibility, not a life accessory.Bringing children into the world requires work, dedication, the ability to endure stress and the willingness to show them tough love and set boundaries.Your children will test you.They are your most unforgiving judges. That's the price you pay for their unconditional love. Oscar Wilde:" All children start by loving their parents. Later, they judge them. Rarely, if ever, do they forgive them!" Your children will never thank you.If they succeed in life, if they become responsible, healthy adults with families of their own, that's your reward.That's all you can ask for.

All that you’ve described is precisely why a happy/solid family unit is more impressive than money. It’s a hard thing to achieve, and most hard things are impressive.
@charlottepeukert909511 ай бұрын
@@PinkHypatia What people expect a happy family to be is a Hollywood image of it. And this image is dangerous.First of all, people expect the parents of the family to give everything to their children unconditionally, especially material goods. When you tell your child today that he or she will have to provide for themselves and take over responsibility for their lifes, this is perceived by society as an unfair treatment, especially if the family is wealthy. Then, there's the problem that many children and teens don't get a realistic (often unflattering) view of themselves, leaving them with unrealistic expectations what their future will look like and how hard they'll have to work for it.The trouble here is that young people often think social media is a reality, they can achieve.They don't focus on a realitic future but want to become rich and famous in no time, regardless of their personal abilities and the requierements of the job.They don't understand that they're likely to fail and that failing is part of the road to a happy life. They underestimate the value of strong personal bonds with others and overestimate the impact money and success will have on their lifes. That's bad because, just as you build a business, you build relationships. Nothing happens by chance.

Regarding the story of the fisherman and the banker. The fisherman is right. Why work like a dog now, and sacrifice time being with friends and family and maybe enjoy life later, if you'll be healthy enough, when you don't have to work hard at all get enough for what you need, and enjoy life now. The fisherman has his priorities straight. The banker's mentality, is what is wrong with the world.

Is it only ME who knows the rest of the story about the fisherman? Soon big boats came, built factories, caught all the fish, polluted the water, fishermans boat broke, his wife left him, and he got sick... The story is about future security!

Well, many of these are stereotypes and that's why NOT impessive 🤷♀️ I am impressed by people who don't follow such rules

How do you define a stereotype?
@Whoeverwhateverwhenever11 ай бұрын
@@alux Like the one about having a good loving family. It's good, but that's it. In 2024 there are many people who choose not to have a family and are happy with their choice. You operate with things that defined success 30 years ago.

I feel 100 years old in a 21 years old body due to experience a lot of things like having multi talented make music, software, video games, make humor, I feel different than most people but when look at me they see as a kid which It’s find sophisticated so I just hope people understand that wisdom comes with experience and age doesn’t age your soul ages.😊😊😊 PS. Still use a GameBoy and vinyl and painting to create assets not liabilities.😊😊😊😇😇😇

Love this video. To add another quality,...To serve on a Board of Directors / Volunteer with charity endeavors. For ME,,I have enjoyed the luxury of quality spare time that provided the ability to hold positions on many Boards of Directors as well as volunteer time to work with charity events such as golf tournaments and the like. As long as Alux keeps making these COOL videos, I will continue to watch as a happy and educated subscriber. YSC! You're So Cool.
