For that final equation (the simplified version on Eq. 6.2), is this for combined biaxial bending and axial loading? I am a bit confused by the wording which makes it seem like it is only bending about the minor axis?

As the buckling in minor axis is the controlling buckling, that’s why only minor axis buckling is written. But I think it accounts for both minor and major axis buckling and axial loading.
