I was attempting for an exam since 2014, from 2014 to 2021 failed in 5 exam, once I came across your video at first I felt bore but indeed I listen to it to improve my English and word power later on I realised the content in your video in not just English but a live changing principles, I start to adopt it and became habitual of such videos, in 2023 I attempted same exam and cleared interview with ease, Thank you for being part in achieving my dream job.

One of the most impactful lessons from the video is the importance of being a master of ourselves. In a world filled with distractions and temptations, cultivating self-discipline is essential for personal growth and success. Seneca's teachings inspire us to take control of our actions, emotions, and decisions, empowering us to stay committed to our goals even in the face of adversity.

#8 I thought I was but perhaps I wasn't. I helped multiple felons with food, clothing, tax years unfilled, jobs, resumes and when I was in trouble, none of these "rehabilitated" fools called me once. Maybe they didn't like the white boy who wasn't a felon. Who knows. Be careful who you help should be #8.5 Some of these mother fuckers will resent you for having a better brain, even though your heart is only equal, and may be less than theirs.

I never comment on videos, but I must for this one. I was going to switch my current college major from Environmental Biology to English, the reason being it was going to be easier for me, since I'm good at writing. However, after listening to these points of advice, especially #1 and #7, which really made me think differently and opened my eyes, I decided to stick to my current major. Yes, it is VERY hard at times, but I know that I will gain personal growth and will be happier in the end with my job. This video is the inspiration I needed. :^)

Yeah but... I'm conflicted, because Seneca advised several kings who owned slaves. Other Stoic philosophers did too. So on the one hand... Wise words. But on the other, they permitted the ownership of humans. How is that "doing good?" How is that practicing the virtue of justice? Because Stoicism is sooooo vibing with me. But this hypocricy baffles me.

Take what you can benefit from and leave the rest . Many of the past religions and philosophies, that are thousands of years old , include slavery and injustices. Why because at the heart of each of us is corruption, selfishness and the need to protect and control our own lives over the lives of others. It’s called sin … the fallen man. “Master yourself first “
