Go look up Rainier Tower in Seattle and tell me that shouldn't have been included. It's built on what can roughly be described a reverse-pyramid. The bottom of the tower is on rollers that take up the entire city block, underneath, so it will literally roll back and forth during an earthquake, helping to absorb all that energy. The Space Needle, on the other hand, is built on a foundation like those old blow-up "punching bags" that are weighted on the bottom to make it rock back and forth but not fall.

These structures definitely 'picked the wrong spot' to build! 😅 No one wants to live on a 'hotspot' like that! Wishing you all a fun watch without getting too 'shaken'!

It's crazy that San Francisco Bay Area gets four entries on a list of 15 structures globally, all within 20 miles of each other. Hayward, City Hall straddles the fault line and is sitting abandoned.

I was on the GG Bridge just a few days ago. It's amazing how close the country is once you cross it.

You would absolutely not find me at the top of any of the skyscrapers or on any of these bridges. I those would just be horrible ideas! 😮😮😮😮

The tallest skyscraper in South America right now is literally built in a country that it’s whole length is situated in or near a fault line and has had the biggest earthquake ever recorded… and there’s not even a mention of the country :/ also, we had a 6,3 earthquake the other day and nothing even happened, just another day. Chile el major país de Chile po🇨🇱
