I can't explain how I am feeling right now. It may not be the right and Islamic approach, but the hate that I (and the majority of people from my country - Bosnia and Herzegovina) have for them is like a mountain. There is obviously no justice in this world. I'm glad that people from around the world see what they are doing, even if the governments are on their side. Thanks brother for your lesson. I have read these ayats in the Quran many times but I have never ever heard any one explaining them the way u have explained them. It makes 100% sense the way u explaining them. It's not easy to remove idolatry from people's hearts without actual visual aid the way Allah did by tell the Islaelites to slaughter a cow to teach them physically that cows can't save themselves from the slaughter sword and so they can't be worshipped as a diet. Ive read/listen to surah alBaqarah, read the translation , listen to lectures to understand about the story but still dont fully get it. I guess i didnt really cannot connect the human psychological, or really relate to the situation of that era. Thank you. This lecture answered a lot of my questions everytime I read about these verses. But some questions remained, such as why Samiri was just casted away instead of being punished or killed, and the Imam said some people followed Samiri after he casted away, but it's not mentioned anywhere in the Quran that Samiri left with a bunch of followers, actually Moses said that the punishment for Samiri is that he would say "do not touch me" to others, living in isolation and wandering alone.

the truth is even though a lot of you here and myself are amazed at the khutba and thinking that’s a whole new type of explanation … this is exactly what’s happening to us when we recite the quran. the purpose was to alienate us from these practices and that’s what most of us in our initial days of practicing the deen do… it becomes our sole purpose … focusing on the oneness of Allah and trying to purify our intentions for any action … subhanallah ! we don’t know what exactly is happening to us when we recite the quran but the best of the best is happening to us! this is a reminder to continue to keep watch on all fronts

I am asian and I lived most of my life amongst pure whites or blacks or with people who were racially different and they called me intellectually inferior because I was not from their gene pool or race but they vocally and loudly humiliated me by making my small mistakes look huge while they shrugged their own and thier racial group's huge mistakes under rugs. They admired people of their racial group a lot for little good work they did but they made my better work look bad by twisting facts. It is not easy to be racial/ religious minority but even muslims from my ethnic group victimized me for their greed by chosing real marriage for themselves but they imposed paper marriages on me to make turn into visa giving machine or dollar giving machine.

According to many African scholars of Khemetian/Egyptian history, there was no enslavement of a people called Jews n even according to Biblical Scriptures, Yahoshua who believed about such, maybe from certain stories or scrolls, was told by Jewish pharisees or scholars that they were never in bondage to no man in Egypt, when Yahoshua stated that he knew they were in bondage in Egypt. When TRUESTRY is being observed, it would best serve the interests of all to have a sit down n this should include scholars from amongst Islam, Christianity, Judaism n Afrocentricism, because when we look at what has been n is still been said, there are opposing views to the argument concerning who n when an enslavement of the children of Israel took place in Egypt n who were these peoples., this arrangement would solve the problems we are facing today concerning the idea of a "chosen people".
