I thought it was a kiss. Even as a kid I never read it as CPR. I think the main reason for this is that the guy tried kissing her but it wouldn’t work or wake her up, and then when the girl kissed her with all that light and magic I read that as “oh she has the gift, she’s the chosen one, she’s Prince Charming, not her brothers”

About Apple and Raven's privileged room: in the books the school is mostly separated by royals vs. commoners, until Raven rebels. The royals were always given better treatment, important stories got school festivals, and royals competed against commoners in school sports. Mattel was actually supposed to create a Daughter of Peter Pan doll based off a fan's OC though the doll was never made due to the cancellation, the fan did recieve very own art of their OC from EAH and a hand-made doll of the OC though the fan requested for it to be mass-produced unfortunately the fan passed away now and I wish their dream of seeing their character in stores wouldve came truem

What's funny is that lately, I got into EAH a few months, and I was also getting into the Arsene Lupin books and Lupin III. I then made up a character where he was Arsene Lupin's son (I switched the names between Arsene Lupin Jr. and Antoni Lupin). He is a Royal, due to his love and admiration for his father's talent for thievery and mastery of disguise, but supports the Rebel side constantly. He is also able to jump at far and high distances while sharing his father's talent in lockpicking, disguising, and other various acts related to stealing, but has a newly developed talent for card tricks, which is very useful in situations. His attitude is known for being overly sarcastic and wisecracking but is very serious in important situations, and respectful towards his friends and other people. Later on, in the show, it becomes revealed that he has a crush on either Lizzie, due to, y-know, cards, and begin dating. Or, I had another path where it is Cerise, due to how the name Lupin was used as a wolf-description name in late media. Also, he has a top hat that is able to be thrown at virtually any distance, angle, or direction, and has the ability to cut objects, such as rope, chains, etc. His catchphrase is, "Now you see me, and now you see me again!"

@@Nightman221k Same !!! Oh gee you got me rambling now! Also the twist of the next Snow White and Evil Queen falling in love just fits so well with what EAH was all about. Darling on the other hand is still from a Charming family, which is a bit more by-the-books. Though don't get me wrong, Apple/Darling is also cute. I just don't see that same chemistry or flirtyness with them that Raven and Apple had. They truly had a push and pull thing going on, if you know what I mean? And while their relationship/friendship definitely had work to be done, we could clearly see it improve throughout the series. In that aspect, their relationship could be seen as a parallel or as emblematic of the whole Royal/Rebel conflict. Raven and Apple getting together would then be indicative for the conflict having been solved. Oh! Though another compromise that I also like is Raven/Apple/Darling. The whole package, y'know? Though I doubt Mattel would make a poly ship canon. But seeing how Raven was already officially paired with Dexter by Mattel (not a big fan) I don't think Mattel would've let Raven do the CPR. Darling makes sense as a second candidate for the role. Though tbh I prefer Darling x Ginger. Or Darling x Rosabella is also cute. Hey y'know I'm noticing a pattern now! Darling goes for the nerdy girls... Rosabella and Ginger both have glasses, and Apple also has glasses (though secretly!) Good for her good for her, nerd girls are cute.

@@EverAfterMsp I feel the same way. Dexter and Raven as a couple weren't interesting and didn't have the engaging dynamic that Raven and Apple had. In fact, I struggle to think of good Dexter and Raven moments. Dexter really needed work as a character, when people thought HE would be Beast because he looked like Disney!Beast's prince form, it had people thinking he'd get more development; but since Daring is the Beast and Darling is the White Knight, Dex comes off as even more of a dud. What I loved best about Rapple was that they fundamentally disagreed but they were incredibly sensitive to each other and it didn't ruin their friendship. I like Darling as a character, but she didn't have those scenes with Apple to make it feel earned that either would consider each other their "True Love," where as if Raven had been the one doing CPR I would have felt like it brought their relationship full-circle. Just imagining how it would be for Apple and Raven to someday tell their story to later generations (maybe to their own kids) and say that they never expected their destinies to be so different from the destinies they thought they'd have but they ended up being each other's Happily Ever. They set up so many really great scenes that would be perfect call backs like after Raven refused to sign the book and Apple was crying because she thought she'd never being able to get the happy ever after she wanted, and Raven telling her that it could still happen) It's just more romantic than both just ending up with a royal from the Charming family.

It's explained in the books that Raven and Apple have separate fathers, but also if they were related it would have been brought up in the series, which it wasn't. Also Erin Fitzgerald, voice actress of Raven, said on her Facebook that she liked the ship, and the official EAH Instagram has used the #rapple hashtag, so I think were good.

Fun Fact: Snow White and Rose Red are different stories/characters from Snowwhite and the 7 dwarfs. I personally think it was a little clever for them to have Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf to hook up and have a family. I mean, who doesn't admire the allure of the idea of a forbidden love. It also speaks volumes on relationships today and of the past: most relationships between either people of different races or color or even age gaps was frowned upon before and those kind of couples faced a lot of backlash from society, from losing their friends and jobs, and even being outed by their own families because bigots can't see the beauty in their love for each other. RRH and BBW are one of the many prime examples of this concept and it shows that we can't help who we fall in love with and we don't know why, but it's their business, not anyone else's.

I wear glasses but it's so rare to find a doll that wears them and I didn't have any glasses wearing dolls as a kid, wasn't until here recently I found a pair of Barbie glasses in an accessory pack and added them to one of the preexisting dolls in my collection. Usually doll glasses are tinted or solid plastic, meant to be sunglasses or just colored fashion glasses, it's so hard to find actual seeing glasses for dolls let alone a doll that's actually meant to wear them. Growing up it was never an insecurity or anything, I've always genuinely thought I look cuter with my glasses, I just found it mildly annoying I could never find a doll that wore them too. but I know it is for some kids and it would be awesome to see more dolls with these smaller details that most people don't think about

9:58 actually there was only 2 or 3 Ramona dolls made from mattel that that was sold on ebay that I saw in the listing for them that they came in a collector's edition labeled box. Though I don't know where they are now.

I miss ever after high a lot it was a big part of my childhood-- especially the books, and the series is really close to my heart. It honestly devastates me that descendants pushed them out of the competition, and I really want to series to come back. I do have all the books and I collected quite a few dolls when I was younger but I haven't been able to find them since moving, unfortunately :(

For the fact # 5, I don't think this is a exclusive Apple White doll but a prototype one (We know thanks to Garett Sanders that doll designers create prototypes by themselves sometimes) And those pictures are actually coming from an early video about EAH (EDIT: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hafHe3atlNN7jsU ). And there was also some pics of a prototype Raven Queen doll with real jewels ! ;)
