Here is a demonstration of the application of the oldest form of electronic synthesis using the Pittsburgh Modular Taiga!
To see how the theme was created, watch the theme video in this series. It is comprised of several patches created on the Taiga over drums created with a Korg Triton Studio.

I love how this series has become more educational on synthesis itself. Thank you!

On this subject, I found a very interesting book where you learn how to mix oscillators to replicate acoustic instruments, it is called "Welsh's Synthesizer Cookbook" by Fred Welsh.

The OPUS 3 has a section of 5 square waves that are variable in amplitude but fixed in pitch at an octave apart with a lowpass filter. and you can create quite a few timbres with it, which you can mix into the brass section which is just a classic synth so you can create a complex timbre and filter it how you like. IN fact there is a whole art called "square wave synthesis". You can use the "Organ [square wave section]" to generated a saw-like timbre, mix it into the string section and turn the two-part string section into 3 string parts

The price of this synthesizer is so incredibly cheap that it seems like a gift from heaven, on the other hand a Moog Minitaur for 689 in the store seems like a theft and a shame, no matter how many presets it has with the app and the Moog sound, no It's not nearly half as good as a Pittsburgh. This company does really cool things. I think that over time it will be an object of desire. Great video, thank you very much. 👍

Taiga does seem to output a very pleasant array of timbers.
