I could not agree with you more about what analog is and what it means to me. The first 5 minutes of this video do a wonderful job of articulating why I believe analog is important.

Somewhat of a beginner but really enjoying modular / semi modular at the moment after picking up the make noise Strega. My first piece of gear was the Minifreak but I’m leaning towards this now as I like the workflow with the patch cables to modulate, so I would sell the MF and get a taiga with a keystep what’re your thoughts do you think I’m downgrading with the included effects of the MF? Thanks!

Pricewise this TAIGA and the Radikal Cep A2 are both fantastic choices for affordable synths.

I just picked up a GRP A2, so I really am not looking for another Mono. But damn, this sounds good.

Are you related to Richard Doty, the weird, maybe formerly CIA, UFO guy? If so... is Thanksgiving more like "oh gawd, another story" or "go on..."?

Purportedly, all Dotys are related!

I'll take my Arturia Matrix BRUTE over the Taiga ANY DAY -WAY MORE BALLZ!😈

I own a MatrixBrute, and I absolutely worship it. But comparing these two at the expense of one or the other is stupid.

@@automaticgainsay Yeah -& Mankind believed he was the center of the Universe for millenia & that the the Earth was flat!🌎😒 U can do WAY MORE with a Matrix BRUTE than you could EVER do on that toy! 🙄 If U own a Matrix BRUTE & TRULY Know how 2 get the best out of it U wouldn't have wasted Ur time & money w/a desktop module that needs a toy keyboard to make it play -THAT'S 'STUPID'! 😒
@aeon13611 ай бұрын
@@automaticgainsay And ANOTHER thing, maybe if U were to have stopped wasting time & energy 'worshiping' The BRUTE & actually LEARNED how to play it -U'da never had the time to even CONSIDER wasting time on a toy like that!😒Learn to play a REAL keyboard -instead of a desktop 'TOY'! 🙄 THINK about it: If you can get Way MORE out of a Matrix BRUTE, do pretty much ANY sound that 'toy' can do & then some, utilize the built-in sequencer, take advantage of 3 BRUTE Oscillators, etc., etc. -Why waste Ur Valuable Time on some toy that CAN'T do anywhere NEAR what the BRUTE can do? What, was learnin' The BRUTE 'too hard'? You decide to 'worship' The BRUTE instead -& revert to learning how 2 play a 'kiddie keyboard' (not even full-size keys) through a sound module on a tabletop 'cuz that was 'easier'?!🙄LOL!😏 I'm NOT the one who's 'STUPID' Here!😏

@@aeon136 Well, you have to be very smart to know that the Matrixbeute keyboard only has 4 fucking octaves, too short to play complete pieces on stage and go around transposing octaves every time you want deeper bass... my god, that's what it is. a waste of time, when you have the false 3-note polyphony. I have Waldorf Pulse 2 which sounds much better with the 3 and 8 note paraphony but really where it plays best is with a 61 key midi keyboard, Matrixbrute is the same limited shit. That is why a Taiga is not only ideal for home studios, but also to have a more ideal synthesizer for playing musically anywhere where they have a midi keyboard or 61-key synthesizer. The most absurd thing about Matrixbrute is that a 23 kilo synthesizer only has 49 notes. I would never buy one, although I have my unit in black where I only use it when I want Steiner type sounds, because the Arturia ladder is thinner than spaghetti.
