My cat is my Best Friend. I have had her since she was a kitten and now she is 21 years. She is a wonderful companion. Thankfully , she is still Happy & healthy even at her age. I love my cat so much !

Thank you for the mention of declawing - honestly the WORST thing you could do to a cat! There is NEVER a reason to be so cruel... if your couch is more important than your cat, don't get a cat!

I don’t think most vets will do that anymore. 30 years ago I declawed my cats. Now I know better and just have plenty of scratching posts and pads available.

I had a Siamess so destructive he couldn't be rehomed or adopted. Chose declawing rather than euthanasia. He lived a happy life with no complications.

Thankfully, since early 2024 declawing has become illegal in Quebec. Other jurisdictions that have not adopted similar measures should follow suit.

Sphinx cats and other hairless or nearly hairless cats often prefer wearing sweaters or jackets to help maintain comfortable body temperatures. Some cats with thyroid issues or other medical conditions like sweaters, too. The vast majority of cats do NOT want to wear clothes or costumes, be dressed like a baby or be held like a baby. They are not babies, they are CATS (okay, fur kids). They are happiest when allowed to be Cats. At least, that’s what my two cats often tell me, and God knows they have me well-trained! I live to serve….

#15 Declawing is the cruelest thing anyone can do to a cat and if a vet does this procedure find a new one and when you change, let them know why you're going to a new vet?

Just the thought of any of my cats never having to step into a dirty litter box is worth, quite literally, any amount of money to me!!!! Unfortunately, like a lot of people nowadays, I am having a very hard time saving the money to get the TWO that I need! I've been watching and loving your channel for a very long time, one the posts is actually the reason I feel the need to have em in the 1st place, so THANK YOU for that!!! All that being said, I think it would be nice if you guys would consider a giveaway with a litter robot as the grand prize. Not only would it make someone's life much better, it would also be making possibly multiple cats lives better in the process!!! Its a win win for all involved. I want one so bad I've been trying, and failing 😢, to make my own!!! Teasing them is so true. When I was younger, my mom dated a guy (who I absolutely hated) named Todd, who had two cats, an outdoor one named Psycho and an indoor one named Cliffy. He CONSTANTLY pulled on Cliffy's tail, and even as a child, I chastised him for it. Poor boy's tail was always puffed up in fear around him. Oddly enough, he felt more calm around me. Maybe because I never teased him. I hope he's ok at least...Psycho never made it, unfortunately.

@@lucascrubjay1914 yeah, it's sad, because the day Psycho got hit by a car my mom was practically about to break up with him. I was smart, I knew not to hurt cats or dogs (he had a dog too, Lacey, she loved me) and I have this feeling that both of them loved me more than their actual owner. Seven year old me or so trying to plan to keep them safe and get me out of Todd's life... not joking.

Though I don't have a cat they are simply beings that want respect. I went to a cat adoption center and when I kept trying to talk to one of the cats it literally went inside it's little home to hide.
