We went there on a cruise a few years ago and it was great. I could totally live in the modern high rise area near the beach. I enjoyed seeing a few places that we've been to as well.

Come on!!! just at a glace, you could've seen that Castillo de San Felipe, at 54 msnm, is NOT the highest altitude point in Cartagena; El Cerro de la Popa, at 139 msnm, visible at plain sight from most Cartagena, within the city limits, is much higher.
