Is so beautiful, rich and magical the Kingdom of Guatemala established since 1609 and that extends from El Soconusco (today Chiapas) to part of Panama. Guatemala is 12th producer of silver in the world and 20th producer of gold besides having massive reserves of nickel, jade and so many other natural resources too bad for almost a century big multinational multi-billionaire anglosaxon criminal corporations have been taking almost everything. Long live Juan Santamaria the heroe of Costa Rica who died in battle against the anglo pirates. The Malvinas belong to Argentina 🇦🇷 , The Esequibo belongs to Venezuela 🇻🇪 and Belice belongs to Guatemala 🇬🇹. Guatemala exploited and sabotaged for almost a century but never gives up!!. God bless

Guatemala is so beautiful, rich, magical and unique. For amost a century big world producer of gold, silver , jade, etc. The Malvinas belong to Argentina 🇦🇷 and Belice belongs to Guatemala 🇬🇹 the land of the great Jacobo Arbenz , Miguel Angel Asturias (Noble Literature Prize and Lenin Prize) and Kjell Eugenio Laugerud the last Guatemalan who kept the Guatemalan currency the Quetzal paired with the French Franc and the US dollar. Kjell Eugenio Laugerud famous for his patriotic fight to recover the Guatemalan territory of Belice. God bless

We will be there in May and June next year. I guess we will spend a month in Pana and a month in San Juan ? We are traveling between Mexico and Argentina in search of our favorite retirement city. What advice would you give your parents ? Thx
@WyattandReyka Жыл бұрын
Oh wow that’s amazing! Pana and San Juan are both wonderful cities. We enjoyed San Marcos too. It’s not only a hippie town haha. That’s amazing! How many stops will you have between Argentina and Mexico?
@therehastobesomethingmoore Жыл бұрын
@@WyattandReyka Hola ! We will have maybe 20 cities to check out. It will take us maybe 4-5 years…just a guess. If we still feel like traveling, Lidia would like to bounce around SE Asia for a few years. We even toy with the idea of a few stops in Eastern Europe, but we’ll reassess once we complete our Latin American tour ! 😃 This is what we think retirement should be like !
@WyattandReyka Жыл бұрын
That definitely IS what retirement should look like 🥰 wowza! Y’all are big travellers. Have you found any places you really love yet? And definitely should visit Europe too! We haven’t been to Eastern Europe yet but can’t wait soon. There are just too many cool places to travel to hahahaha 😂
@therehastobesomethingmoore Жыл бұрын
@@WyattandReyka This is actually our first stop….Lidia’s home country. We retired 4 months ago and came here right away. Her Mom has her 90th birthday in November and she’ll get to spend time with family til February. Keep in touch…who knows, maybe we will cross paths one of these days ! We will keep watching your videos !
@WyattandReyka Жыл бұрын
Happy birthday to lidia’s mom!!! 🎉 And that’s excellent. Sounds like a great decision post retiring. And yeah! We’d love to link up when we cross paths. Just got back to the states from a brief jaunt in the Caribbean, but we’re traveling soon again😊

@WyattandReyka Жыл бұрын
Great question! You can definitely do San Juan in a few hours if you are in a rush because it is a small area. However if you have time and want to go at a slow pace a relax, a whole day would be good. They have a lot of places to lounge and eat food and explore. We hope you enjoy San Juan, it is beautiful! 🤗

Happy to help!! :) Haha, yeah. Spanish will definitely help you. Italki.com is a website we use to pay for hourly lessons to speak with a native speaker on zoom and it is the BOMB! Literally the fastest way to practice speaking a language. You could ask your teacher to specifically help you with conversations you anticipate having in Guatemala too. Either way, you'll be fine 🥰
