And, both of his parents are croatian immigrants to US, and their roots are near the city of Zadar, which is in Dalmatia region in Croatia. The " Serbo-Croatian language" which was officially created by the Yugoslav communist party in 1954 died with Yugoslavia. Serbia only adopted the current "Serbian" language in the 19th century from a Slavic dialect from outside of Serbia ( from Herzegovina). Not one book was published in Serbia in the current Serbian language before the 19th century. In other words Serbia does not have a literary history before the 19th century and that is why they need the Croatian language component. Croatia does not need "Serbian" at all, as it is a stand-alone language.

As for publishing books in medieval, I guess you should learned in elementary school about Gutenberg etc. I guess you are saying something of your wishlist's since you are not educated enough..... More important is that all Serbs speaks ONE DIALECT. Croats speaks 3 different DIALECTS, so that speaks enough of mixed origins of modern Croats (created in XIX century by Vatican and Vienna).

The "Miroslav Gospel" was written in "Church Slavonic" not in the "Serbian language". It was written by a Byzantine writer in the town of Kotor and therefore was not published in Serbia. The town of Kotor used to be part of the Kingdom of Dalmatia (Austria-Hungary) in other words Croatia. After WW1 the Bay of Kotor was incorporated into Montenegro. It was taken by the Serbs to Belgrade after 1918. I suggest you look that up.
