Here's what I've learned about london, you can walk over the most expensive street and wear the most expensive perfume, get a massage with an expensive view, eat at the most expensive restaurant, and then sleep at the most expensive suite... in other words I'm too poor for London

Alux.com are you sure "luxury living" in a city is confined to a bar with a view, a spa with a view.....just sayin london as a city has so much to offer in luxury living besides the amenities of her hotels. as an example, sports : you can go on and on about the most expensive seats in wimbledon (tennis) or stamford bridge (football). the summer inflow of middle eastern rich and their cars (which is a luxury phenomenon not found elsewhere). real estate :expensive penthouses (one hyde park has one, if i am not mistaken). museums : v$a, tate modern, british museum....eponynomous with luxury fine arts. i am sure the rich ppl does appreciate a well curated museum in the city they are living. cultural richness alongwith weath, just sayin... so much more, and many more....

I live in London at present, but due to foreign billionaire bastards buying up property in all four corners of the city, i most likely will not be able to live my home town so I don't see the point of glorifying the people who are taking away proper affordable homes from people who have lived in the city all their lives and have access to the type of funds middle and lower income Londoners, which make up the majority of the city, will never come close to. We shouldn't glorify decadence whilst there are people in impoverished areas of London, like Barking and Dagenham, Newham etc, who are suffering whilst there are the rich upper classes who won't even donate to those who have lost family, belongings and their homes in Grenfell Tower

In fact it's one of the only boroughs that shows a huge contrast between rich and poor. You could even be a billionaire and live a 4 story london home and be next to a council estate.

Well, thank you for introducing London. I am a Londoner. I grew up in South Kensington not far from all these places. Harrods used to be a selective place, not anymore. I used to go there for a good lunch. Sadly, the price has skyrocketed but the quality has gone down. Yes, you have covered London well, however, you left out one the most important part of London: The City. Look it up and you might do just The City?

You drive on the "wrong" side of the road at the Savoy so that black cab drivers can open the right hand side door from inside and let you out. If they drove on the left they could not open the left door from inside (they are sat on the right). The width of the street also determines the turning circle of black cabs.

How does a wealthy sort avoid acid attacks from the diverse multiculturals? I like the exotic cuisine, but it must be difficult to go slumming into the bohemian areas of London without the worry of getting a big, heaping splash of love from a local mugger. If I were a billionaire, I would want to do all I could to avoid the acid throwers.

London has some quality people that you'll never get anywhere else in the world such as Skepta, JME, KSI and The Chicken Connoisseur. London is also the place where you can get stabbed by a "roadman" with the precision like they are the king of jousting in 1459, truly a brilliant place but if you go south east into the county of Kent you get the most middle class UKIP voters in the UK which you wouldn't get anywhere else. So my foreign friends come to England and visit London.
