Great points. What I learnt from my interactions with the rich living in Mumbai, India, as a tutor and trainer is that the truly rich people - those who don't have only wealth, but also class - are respectful to even those who do not match up their socio-economic level. Also, here's a tip: if you are working for the rich, especially, the super-rich, do not ask questions, and you'll have them answered in the course of time.

As mentioned don't ask too many questions or interfere at first - the information will come to you over time as you earn their trust. Sometimes a personal assistant will do some of the requesting as well. And yes, this crowd says 'no' often because they know what they want usually in a detailed particular way. Plus it's so much nicer to pick up at the private jet terminals directly beside the plane- just don't clip the wings of the Gulfstream on your way out! It's not that you get smarter or increase your IQ or anything.. just means you'll often be more aware of the inner social workings of the city and all the recent movers-n-shakers. The best that comes of it is normally an increase of your contacts and extra contracts to do down the road. They're people as well except they are very sure of what they're doing and have means to execute it.

I drive for Uber on the weekends and I average about $1,000/week. I pick up rich and poor people, I learn from both. 😊😉
Isn’t it cool to know that you will have freedom and security with this kind of job and then some? It is interesting how former education is overrated. While some may consider this job underrated, it is incumbent upon us to realize that this may be a one-stop unaccredited university where you do not only learn from your instructor (the rich), but your contribution is valid. As evident here, you graduate without a degree but with a skillset, a career-ready, and with a guaranteed continuing internship and mentorship. That’s why you ought to celebrate and be grateful at this point, knowing that you’re an insider and your opinion counts, which is why the most valuable lesson I believe I can learn from driving the rich is THE RICH LISTEN TO THEIR DRIVERS. Thank you as always, ALUX!

While driving for the rich, you will hear a lot about different things, the good and the bad alike, but you will quickly come to understand that discretion is key, especially if the rich person for whom you drive tells you directly that they are about to tell you something in confidence.

In Sydney Pollack's movie 'Sabrina', Thomas Fairchild the driver to the wealthy Larrabee family, over the course of his career accrues nearly 2 million dollars by simply buying and selling the same stocks that his employer 'Mr. Larrabee senior' use to trade, because Fairchild overheard his employer's stock trading decisions each morning while driving him to work. I drive because I enjoy the freedom of the road The rich are under God's condemnation because they love their money over and above God and people I drive the rich (and sometimes famous) and most of them enjoy rubbing their wealth in my face. Sometimes they'll even talk about how vast their wealth is and how they give to charities. The other day my rich client who usually requests to be driven by me and even hugs me when she greets me tells me she just gave away a million dollars to a charity while enjoying her breakfast. Now, she knows I'm poor and struggling but won't do anything to try and change my life. What I learned from the rich is that they are trapped by their wealth and have no real freedom to make the world a better place by touching everyone they come into contact with. They only give if there's a profitable future benefit attached to their gift. Everything they do is with an expected ROI (retun on investment). They see no ROI in changing the life of a homeless person or poor family unless its attached to a political gain which in turn turns into a monetary gain. Everything is part of a strategy to grow their wealth. They are usually cold, heartless and disconnected from the feelings of those under them. They make sure the help makes only enough to survive and needs them. I've spoken to wealthy women who had their nannies for years raising their children and the nannies remain poor and struggling although they speak of how they love their nannies and how the kids love their Nana and how Nana is a second mom to their kids. I spoke to one filthy rich woman with various million dollar mansions who fired her Nana after her children went off to college without as much as even a nice bonus for 15 plus years of service. The Nana is usually driving the same old beat up car and living in the same apartment as when she first started. Sadly the help have false hopes of getting ahead with the rich or being blessed by them when in reality all they get is to see how cold and uncaring the rich truly are The rich look down on the help and often insult and hurt them by rubbing in their wealth 20 years driving the rich and often multiple times and even having them request for me because they find me to be entertaining. And that's all I am to them, an entertaining safe driver. Now don't get me wrong, there are the nice perks of getting tips and free expensive meals and I even got invited to dine with a few rich people at nice restaurants. They feel they're just giving you a tiny piece of cookie to see and enjoy their wealth I've had rich people allow me to see the inside of their private jets but not once did they offer to take me along to their Hawaiian or European vacation And it's fine. I'm not complaining about remaining poor while being in such close proximity to the filthy rich. I believe I will be judging them in the final day when they are stripped of their wealth, are naked and poor and will see me as their judge and greatest reminder that they could have cared for me and changed my life and done good, but instead chose greed and the love of money over the love of God and people They are filthy rich and alive solely because God allows it although he will destroy them one day. They love money and oppress the poor and they WILL DEFINITELY pay for that They will be stripped of all their riches and be burned in the lake of fire. They will disappear and never be found again. There will be no memory of them, no legacy, no future, no existence The poor and struggling who trust and put their faith in God will inherit the greatest life and future to come. A life of perfection living in a city with streets of pure gold, surrounded by walls made of the finest stones known to man. There will be no more death, suffering pain or hunger. No more crying, no more tears, no more hurt, no more bad memories, no more persecution, no more racism, no more rejection, no more evil. All the old things will be passed away and all things made new for th greatest existence ever. An eternity of peace, true love and bliss. An eternity right in the presence of God himself with a glorified body that can never break down or suffer again. The rich don't get anything remotely near what those who love God will get. The rich will be wiped out completely and forever while those poor and struggling who love God will live forever and ever in bliss and happiness

The most valuable lesson (other than those in the video) one can learn from driving the rich is the _absence_ of conversational content about frivolous and irrelevant topics. A rich person may discuss the latest financial and economic news, an upcoming gathering with relatives, or a legal point while a business deal is being worked out. But never will you hear gossip about celebrities, painstakingly complete descriptions about their recent surgical procedures and recovery from them, or the differences between one new mobile phone and another one. What is said is with intent to drive the listener(s) toward a constructive plan of action and _never_ solely to elicit an emotional reaction.
