So cool to hear more about this fascinating place! About 10 years ago I was volunteering with an organisation helping underprivileged children from Mozambique (I wasn't able to visit myself, just did admin from my home country). The country has not had an easy history so it will be great if tourism can create more wealth and a higher standard of living for the people. Lovely!

I love Mozambique! We were there already four times. We went to Inhambane, Tofo, Inhaca Island and Masingir. The food is out of this world and like you say, the seafood is a must. I can wait to go back. Perhaps in September this year...

Great facts about Mozambique. We learnt about the border-crossings with rental cars in Namibia. I didn't cross any borders but the rental company kept asking us if we were and also it seemed only certain cars in their fleet could cross borders which I was surprised about. Fake police officers sounds scary! I would not have realised this.
@onclaudi95006 жыл бұрын
Ella in Wanderlust yeah I wouldn't have thought of crossing boarders with a rental car would be a problem either.

Cheers, Doris & Matthias 🕷🐻

Thank you for this video! I plan on traveling alone. Do you recommend Mozambique for a solo female traveler?
@onclaudi95005 жыл бұрын
Pleasure.:-) I didn´t do Mozambique alone but I would totally do it and recommend it. I felt super safe when traveling with my friend. My recommendation: use common sense. If you travel by public transport - travel during the day. Ask the people you are staying with or at the place you are staying if it is save where you planning on going - then all should be ok :-). What is your itinerary?
