The thing with domestic cats: their reaction time is incredibly fast, faster than a crocodile and WAY faster than a human. They are small, which grants explosiveness and good agility. They can easily jump away, dodge and hit enemies with insane speed. Edit: some people also mentioned they go for the eyes, which I completely forgot. It's true. Cats are able to identify an animal's eyes, they communicate with each other using eye winks and paired with their speed and agility they can do a lot of damage to the eyes.

I fought a rooster once, all I did was shoo him away at 4:00 am , the baby was just weeks old and I had to be up at 6:00am for work, that rooster was so loud woke everyone up. Went outside broom in hand just in case, it had rained, I had on boxers and slippers,no shirt. I went to shoo him with the broom but he wouldn't move so i tried again a bit harder, this time he jumped on my face, knocked down in mud and it was on. He did kicked my butt though, had three cuts on my neck and face, scraped elbow, twisted ankle and a swollen wrist. I was lucky to get out alive.

The electric eel encounter with the Cayman was interesting. The electric current was left to rip through the Cayman for quite some time as though the electric eel was aiming at leaving a lasting impression on the Cayman. A lot of these crocodiles (some actually being alligators which is a big difference in strength, size, and aggression) are really small compared to the group their contending with. An actually full-size saltwater crocodile has VERY few that could contend with it. They can be anywhere around 20 feet!
@Ra-2183 жыл бұрын
Yes. I went to a demonstration to show the difference between a reaction from a crocodile to an alligator. The narrator stated that it is why many who come from countries with alligators end up dead in Australia, as they presume the crocodile to be as docile as the alligator. Moral of the story: Never play snap with a crocodile.

Pretty sure Jaguars are on par with tigers. Jaguars have, pound for pound, the strongest bite of the big cats although tigers are better in overall strength and unlike most big cats jaguars go exclusively for the skull, not the neck or underbelly. Not to mention they are really good at swimming. Scary good at swimming actually.
@aussiek672 жыл бұрын
A fully grown Tiger or Jaguar will take down a 15 foot croc or alligator 9 out of 10 times. The big cats know they're in the water & wait for them to surface then they strike. Once the big cats jaws are on the neck or head its over for the croc or alligator! Tigers are so intelligent & so strong its really not a contest! It's game over for any animal incl. a Lion!! Tigers are literally the best hunters out there except those with guns & that's not a fair fight!!
