Most of the table manners in this video are quite standard in a British home (provided they have been taught ) And the whole tea and dinner thing , that varies from county to county and even town to town. The British language has many many many different variants and dialects depending on where you live. Even in my county , my accent is very different to the one in the city 12 miles away.

Pretty standard stuff for a British upbringing of children. Shake hands. Dress properly. Behave with good manners. Eat with adults - all your food - no preferences or whining. Say thank you. Dress for dinner, meaning change and wash your hands. If weekdays.. go to bed after dinner, by 7.00pm till age 8/9.. unless homework is unfinished, then it can be later.. No separate children's table. Participate in adult conversation if you have something useful to say on point with actual conversation, nothing irrelevant or off topic from main conversation. No TV unless homework is finished and properly completed. Usually homework took so long that watching TV was not an option. Usually homework took 2 to 3 hrs. No multiple question stuff, essays and composition on every subject, with research and references. Exception being math, or French homework, or language of choice. Do dishes after eating. Be polite. Never answer back, especially to your Mother.

There is also afternoon tea whitch brits and the royals do have whitch is a cup of tea (plus sometimes a glass of champagne) with finger sandwiches, cakes and scones with clotted creme and jam. What a load of tosh. Many of the ‘rules’ described are just normal behaviour for many British people......in particular, use of cutlery and table etiquette. ‘Scent’ is an English word, ‘perfume’ is a French word, use of perfume has become widespread but that does not make it English/correct. Referring to the evening meal as ‘tea’ began in certain regions and has spread. There is nothing at all wrong with that but the correct description is ‘lunch’ (luncheon) for the midday meal and ‘dinner’ for the evening meal. It is not just the royal family that chose to use the original (English language) descriptions. Language evolve and the royal family, along with many others, are traditional .....which does not mean that words will not be adopted when they become widespread...just compare how the Queen now speaks compared to the early years of her reign.
