Mix it with glue or paint to create textured surfaces for rolling or brushing on, or can be put between layers of paint. Great for anti slip flooring, decorative features, model making, or other craft work.

I use it along the fenceline ro keep the mus from splattering up and reduce the discolouration and cleaning time; in the garden ro keep weeds down; and cleaning up general spills. Saw a guy make sawdust sand jars using different coloured woods to make crafts. Looks cool. Thanks for the tips.

Great info! Only one quick critique is that manure is not a nitrogen fixer, but a direct source of N. Nitrogen fixers are living organisms that fixate atmospheric gas into plant soluble nitrogen via root exudates!! I.e. legumes Love the video and sub'd! Keep it up!

Great vid. Another good one is coffee grinds for the extremely high nitrogen content. The only thing we can't create is elemental atoms so that is why we collect the grinds for the garden! Stronger than bat guana!

Most were obvious, but good uses, what i want is to be able to reuse in woodwork, not as filler mixed with glue, but somethin substantial that uses up lots of sawdust. Cheers

If you use it to lay paths it's always washing away needing more. Also plants love the sawdust as mulch. Pile it on.

Clean up animal or human vomit inside the house by sprinkling sawdust or Ash on it and then just sweep it off.

I guess black walnut sawdust would be the best choice for walking paths to kill any thing from growing on it. Is that correct?
@OffgridSecrets2 жыл бұрын
Yes but also it might be dangerous for animals

@@OffgridSecrets no animals in my garden. Maybe if would reduce rabbit intrusion. Hey man I just thought you had two good points. I thought I might combine them. I have a sawmill and I do occasionally have black walnut. Thank you

I really wouldn’t recommend adding it to mortar for building with. Some wacky idea that will not add any value to the mortar mix.

I have a question, which type of wood makes the best sawdust? And is it going to get moldy if I keep it for a week or two in a bag? Thank you all so much

Make methanol, one of the primary components of biodiesel. And those who are curious, the other two components are lye (sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide, which you can also get from sawdust, depending on the wood) and used cooking oil. If you have a diesel engine you now have virtually free fuel.

I have tons of sawdust left over in my furniture factory. Specifically from plywood. I’m worried the glue between the layers is not safe for fuel, or going back in the soil. Any creative ideas on how to reuse it?
@OffgridSecrets2 жыл бұрын
I would put it for sale on Facebook marketplace and let the buyer decide what to do with it. Sell it in ton bags and up the price if it sells too fast. That’s what I would do.

Good video except for,,,, your words for people to read are not staying on your video long enough,,,, it’s the same as your listening to a person on KZbin, to try to learn how to fix your toilet but, their mouth is going 100 miles per hour, how can you really learn from a person like that???? Same with your video,,,, I had to watch the video like 3 times to be able to read the words,😒😞
