Really enjoyed this video. I'd love to see some more like this. No matter what level you play there's always plenty to learn from someone like Barry

Barry, of course we would all love to see you make a 147, but we also know it is unlikely. I would love to see more videos of you playing and would like to see you playing a frame or two against Kyren, showing him who's the boss. And who knows .......

Andrew. I am 80 years old this year, riddled with arthritis, have vision problems but can still knock the odd century in. Kyrem is number five in the world, makes centuries for fun, guess who would win.

You mention Kyren making 2 to 3 147's a week in practise which surprised me as I thought pro's spent a good part of their time practising certain shots and routines rather than playing competitive frames but maybe I'm mistaken about that. I do remember Mark Allen saying he'd made 100's of 147's n practise so maybe it's not so unusual! And apparently if Willie Thorne, in potting the first red, didn't get on the black, he had a re-rack!
@BarryStarkSnookerCoach2 жыл бұрын
adrian. Solo practise and routines are important for professional players but so are competitive games against opponents of roughly equal standard. At the top level players need to know that even in practise if they do not give 100% they will be punished, otherwise they may start to get a little careless. Willie would be like any other pro and vary his practise, this was probably just one way of testing himself.

Barry I have a rules question. Do you think that when the red ball comes off the table the award of 4 points should be changed to 8 because that’s how many the opponent could have scored from it. Your thoughts please 🙏 great videos I have learned so much from you after years of getting no where. thanks again

I have a question, Barry Before I shoot what do I look at the white ball or the opposite ball and I hope you are in good health Barry
@BarryStarkSnookerCoach2 жыл бұрын
Palestine. Some will argue that you look at the cue ball, I believe at the time you actually play the shot you should be looking at the object ball. Most players believe this too.
