Perfect for a starter set. Looks better than sports directs offering. Fewer clubs means less confusion for a beginner. Decathlon’s balls are good as well.

I got the Inesis 100, and additionnel 2 and 3 woods. 9 clubs total. The sand wedge easy to used around the green. The hybrid and 7/6 clubs most of the time hit the green. My golf teacher hits the driver over 300 yards. Great golf set for ever. Your golf will increase distance and accuaracy right away. The most good shots you get, the more you want to increase your golf skills.

As a beginner taking lessons I purchased these about a month a go. I love that they're lightweight and it's a perfect size set for getting into golf. Far better than my old (second hand) full set of steels that were a chore to drag around to the range and back in a large cumbersome bag.

I have that set and it is very good, I bought it in Decathlon 1 year ago and I played on the courses 3 times, not counting the times I have gone to practice shooting. I must say it is an excellent set to start and I have been very easier to start golf.

Been playing with a Inesis 100 starterset from when I started 3 years ago 'till now. In the meantime I've invested in Callaway Mavrik Max irons, and a Cleveland Lob Wedge, but my PW and SW, toghether with my Driver and Hybride are still in use. They're a really good starter set, mine are the older models (no 6/7 but 6 and no 8/9 bit simple 8 irons, the 8 didn't survive a long hanging branche which I felt bad about) but I still like them. Even today I have my old 6 iron in the bag, it has a much sharper leading edge so easier to use in the rough as it really cuts through the grass, where my Mavrik Max 6 iron will get tangled up in long grass. Short said, perfect golfset for a low budget.

Good review Neil! I've started to play golf this summer with exactly the setup you review - clubs, bag, and even Inesis balls. I can't say I miss anything there, not even one of the big brand names which dominate the golf course. I know when I make a mistake, and the good shots I hit feel nice. I don't have a full swing yet but still I know the length I'm going to get with these clubs when I hit a good one, which gives me some confidence. For example, I always get about 80 yards carry with the PW and 110 yards with the 6/7, 150-170 with the hybrid off the tee. Thinking about getting the 500 series irons some time next season because the beginner set already was a great choice.

I love these. I bought them second hand, never used for €80 as a gift for my brother. He was jusy starting out and its working really wel for him. The composition of this set is brilliant. No beginner can hit a 3-wood or a 4/5 iron. So adding a hybrid instead, and a driver is a great choice.

I am a pretty new golfer and bought that set. So far, it works well for me and my Pro played a round with it as well. His judgement is that those are pretty good for the prize and certainly a good starting point for a beginner. It seems that there are plenty of more expensive ones that do not provide more value to a beginner.

That looks a great starter set of Clubs for someone just getting into Golf. I have been really impressed with the Inesis Gloves and Tour Balls they offer very good performance at approx half price, a real bargain!

I have only been playing for 2 months so needed a cheap simple set. I chose the Inesis 100 as opposed to the Slazenger 300 set from Sports Direct. I am really pleased with them. My golf instructor also commented on how good they are for £150.
@michaelscales59963 жыл бұрын
Sounds to me it's a set that Seniors might like.Could be ideal for winter if there is a trolley ban, or to take with you when you go on holiday.If the set is as good as their excellent value balls, I'll definitely be thinking of buying them.

Great review! Since I only have my dads old golf set some of the clubs are a bit of outdated especially the driver (small head size difficult for beginners). Went to Decathlon and bought the Inesis 100 Driver after watching the review and it was really good! Couldn't hit back2back driver shots in the range but now I think I'm getting better with the Inesis 100 Driver. Thanks!

The fact that folks think they have inbetweeners is mind blowing! There is so much good that comes from playing limited clubs in regards to skill, engagement and creativity which have almost been totally forgotten these days. However with lofts we use on modern clubs it's very difficult to just play a half set. These are branded beginner to intermediate.......what comes next isn't it expert! None of us are that level so these are perfect for almost all.
@souldreamer90563 жыл бұрын
I ageee completely. If I started with a kit like this and only played this for the first 3 years, I be a much more accomplished golfer. It forces you to be creative.

Instead of being classed as beginners set of clubs, for me they could be my exit set of clubs. In my mid 50s I have currently a full set of clubs coupled with a trolley. In my retirement, to maximize my leisure time, I see myself ditching my current arrangement and instead going for the graphite shafted half set housed in the carry bag. Still play golf, with a slower swing speed hence graphite but get a cardio workout while carrying them. Radical but could see it work for me.

Inesis 900 clubs and balls are awosome, they are perfect to move my from a course to another in a same brand bag. Inesis 500, 900 have putter cover but you could buy another one with better materials with £15 or £20 pounds (the price in my country México)

As well as for beginners I see these as a great set for travel. Lugging a full set to and from airports, hotels, etc. is not much fun. I’d seriously consider taking these rather than my full set of Pings. Also less to lose with damage or theft, assuming free travel resumes of course.

What degree of loft do the pitching wedge and the sand wedge have? There is no information about that, or is it standard?
@matt-lang4 жыл бұрын
My one issue with this set is the 14 degree driver. I think the hybrid club is OK, since many people prefer hybrids to their woods, but to not provide a lower lofted driver is going to hinder anyone who takes lessons as they start, IMO. Maybe a 10-12 degree driver would be better to make the clubs last a bit longer for players getting better more quickly. Otherwise someone who improves their swing more quickly will need to upgrade ten driver more quickly than the rest of the set. These clubs do look way better than other starter sets, though!

You can get a great set of clubs second hand for 150. Which you can sell on once you outgrow them. The Inesis set will be worthless second hand. Also check the reviews online. The heads have been known to fly off
