150 GALLON AFRICAN CICHLID AQUARIUM (SET UP+FISH) PART 1

I got this 150 gallon aquarium fish tank for African cichlids.. 6 feet long 2 feet tall glass tank!! I’m so happy and I know my African cichlids are definitely happy with their new home. So much more content and fish to come with this beast of a fish tank, stay tuned for PART 2!! I’m going to finish the stand & rescape I also might paint the top & bottom trim of the tank black. I have a bag of crushed coral in the HOB keeps the ph pretty stable

@@Itzgabez I also helped a friend upgrade from a 55 to a 150g. We hunted fir months to find a deal...that tank looks identical to yours with the brown rim. If you ever want to change that to black, don't spray paint...it comes off over time...use electrical tape 😉

rirdan1 I wish I could they dig so much and move everything around.. also they’d eat majority of live plants.. so no but I do plan to make the scape look much more natural I just don’t have enough rock at the moment..

No I had it for 3 years with no issues😊 one story house with concrete foundation can hold a ton of weight!

Are you sure that’s a 150 and I ever seen a 150 6 feet long. 150 are usually 4 feet long and high. Just wondering because I’m looking for a 6 foot tank
